Paulie Ayala was never a true fw, and was never the best fw in the world at any time lol... A past prime Morales beat the tar out of Pac and that let me know that had PAc faced either man in their absolute prime, they would've given PAc hell.

You ARE discrediting Floyd lol... Anyway, what is a great prime h.o.f fighter lol... Barrera was not in the h.o.f when Pac beat him. You don't get into the hall until after you retire...

The first sentence is your answer, not mine. Paulie was a good, tough fighter, but he never showed he was ever the best fw in the world. MAB and EM showed you at one time they were the best fw's in the world. Your weak outlook is getting dismantled by the second...

Did those words come out of my mouth? No. I said he could have fought better fighters at 135 and 140. Malignaggi wasn't a great fighter, but he was undefeated and slick, and he gave Cotto hell. I do think Floyd would have KO'ed him though. But do you really think Bruseles was any better? 140 wasn't a huge division outside of Floyd and Cotto, but there were decent names like N'Dou, Torres and Malignaggi (Cotto and Hatton didn't want it at the time, so I excluded them). If not for the hand problems, Paulie could have been a decent JWW. But I love how you completely ignored the part where I said Casamayor, Johnston, etc. I'd give Casamayor a fair chance against Floyd (I'd still pick Floyd to win though).

              • The funny thing is fighting and beating h.o.f fighters who could potentially get into the hall is minute compared to how many tough fighters you beat during your career. It's rare to meat a peer who might turn out to be great also. Hell, Hagler fought Mugabi who gave him his hardest fight imo outside of Sugar, and people only remember Terry Norris knocking Mugabi out. Who is greater Hagler or Norris lol...

Pac could have fougth soto? humberto soto? guzman? raheem? raheem was at 135 while pac was still fighting at 130. If pac fought & beat all those guys, could you even brag about them?

im even gonna defend floyd from the malignaggi remark. malignaggi? are you ****ing kidding me?

None of those boxers you just mentioned for both pac & floyd can be classified as great hall of fame fighters. NONE. casamayor was the best out of that bunch & he falls short of hall of fame.
I'll admit, you're right about Raheem. He was at 135 and he wasn't even good. However there was no excuse to why he didn't fight Guzman. He had the choice of fighting Valero, Guzman and Barrera (whom he had already beaten and was coming off of a loss. And he chose Barrera. Despite the hype, I am willing to exclude Valero, but there was no excuse for him not fighting Guzman. There was also no excuse to why he didn't fight Humberto Soto. He was coming off of an impressive win over Juarez, and the dude beat the crap out of Pacquiao's brother. That right there should have been more than enough to sign the fight. I mean if Marquez's resume before the Barrera fight was strong enough for people to hype him up (and the Barrera win wasn't impressive), then Soto's was too.

                  • PBF is recognized as one of the best boxers in the world at the moment. He wants to be the best though, and the only way that will happen is if he fights the best. We know who that person supposedly is.

When PBF retired, the other person beat the best. PBF now has to beat the man who took over from him.
It cant get simpler than that.

Pac beat Diaz and not Campbell at lw, beat Hatton and Dlh after Floyd, asked Cotto to fight him at 145, and he beat Clottey who is an Arum fighter.

Name for name, resume to resume, Floyd's resume is better than Pacs. Floyd is the bigger ppv draw, and Floyd is the better fighter. Where JMM gave Pac hell, floyd beat JMM easy. It's not even a contest as to who is the greater fighter. Pac has names, no substance, Floyd has substance, and his record is his proof lol...
Pac fought Marquez at Marquez's ideal weight. Those were fair matches. Floyd fight against Marquez was a disgrace! Floyd even came in over the initially agreed weight. Not a good comparison, if you ask me.
