Who cares about gloves? I think it's made a big deal by fans.
When has Pac forced his opponents to wear a specific brand? He chooses to wear his brand (Reyes) and complained that he lost the first Morales fight in part because he didn't have Reyes. But I have never heard him mandating his opponents gloves.

Actual fighters who go for Kayos do. Only boxers who rely on points prefer grant pillow gloves to protect their chemically numbed, brittle hands.

Gloves are broken-in, after using it in training you surrender it for the commission for inspection, and you get it back after inspection at the day of the fight.
You seem to be pretty adamant about your opinion and I respect that, but please don't spread false information to prove your point. The agreed upon glove manufacturer sends the gloves to commission. They usually send 3 pairs. They commission will bring them to the weigh in or in some cases the final fighter meeting before the fight. The fighters will then try on the different pairs and pick which one they feel the most comfortable with, then the ones they feel 2nd most comfortable with. The pairs will then be marked as 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The commission will then take the gloves and hold then until right before the fight. Once the hands are wrapped and signed off on, only then is the fight allowed to weir them, moments prior to going into the ring.

Good. Mayweather is doing what De la Hoya did to him. It is his playground...

Was it fair for Mosely? Ofcourse not. But that's what floyd does take all the leverage so the odds of losing is stacked up to his opponent.

IN other words beggars can't be choosers. This is mosely's last big payday.

WAS IT FAIR? NO RIGHT? BUT THAT'S HOW FLOYD PLAYS AND HE GOT PUNCKED BY FLOYD FOR ACCEPTING HIS TERMS.

dude you should be banned for ******ity

gloves have to be presented to the commissions by either the promoter or the glove rep (me) in new condition sealed.

once they have been chosed they label the first pair of gloves for primary use and a back up of which the commission takes them away and holds them until the day of the fight. Just before the fight is to happen the trainers are handed the gloves to be used

now stop with talking about a subject you know absolutely nothing about

I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather's camp stipulated that he can't wear Reyes (though its only speculations).

Its funny to always hear Floyd complain that he had to wear "pillows" that were mandated by Oscar in their fight. Those pillows were Reyes gloves, and they had to be 10 ounce because anything above 147 is automatically 10 ounce gloves. Oscar used his leverage hoping that Mayweather would break his hands, so it wouldn't shock me to think that they made Shane use the bigger, softer gloves instead of Reyes punching gloves.
                    no its not

he chose, I heard it straight from the source.

I am the fighter rep for Everlast for the boxing division

how do you want it confirmed?

I know for a fact 8 oz gloves were brought in because we at Everlast still sent in ses of 8oz MX gloves in case Shane changed his mind

is it really anything to **** on Mayweather?
