Ricky Hatton really should have fought Junior Witter. They were #1 and #2 for quite a while and that would have been a really good fight for British Boxing.

I like Hatton but I think Witter would have exposed him
I'd say Malignaggi and Castillo are his best wins after Kostya. Maussa was pretty powder puff, he hasn't done anything since losing to Hatton, he's fought twice more and lost. Urango holds up a little better 'cause he managed to get his hands on the IBF belt again somehow, but he didn't beat anyone worthy either.

I dunno who'd have won in Witter and Hatton. I think Hatton, back when he was hungry would have stopped him. But, we'll never know. What I will say is overall at 140, Witter took more risks and took on tougher opposition; prime undefeated Judah, Kotelnik, Bradley, Alexander. Collectively those 4 fighters are better than Ricky's. You could say Kostya trumps the lot, and he probably does, but them 4 are maybe better than the rest Ricky beat.

Yeah, but he looked bad at that weight. If that was him testing the waters to see if he could do it at 147 it should have been perfectly clear afterwards that he was not a Welterweight and would not be able to beat Mayweather.

The guy Ricky could have fought to make his LWW resume so much stronger is Cotto and he didn't want anything to do with him, ducked him on two occassions. Both were still pretty young champs as well (27 odd) and there styles would have made a good fight, with Miguel probably the victor.

I'd like to say that excuses him, mate, but it doesn't. His lifestyle outside of the ring has contributed in his downfall. A disciplined, ambitious fighter would have wanted to bounce back from that loss, go back down to 140 and become a champion again.

A lot of people think "Ricky ruled the division" 'cause he was ring champ for so long. But he never held more than two of the 4 titles and the two biggest threats to his crown (Cotto and Witter) were both overlooked.

**** ****y Fatton, he was an overated **** who was being saved by the judges all his career except for the Zyu fight. Collazo sparked his ugly pale face up and was given the fight. Urango alomost blistered his ass to if he would've not taken the dive. Please ****y go back to your lame ass country because we don't want to see your unskilled ass fighting again. Give me a payday and I'll blister your ass with just three months of training.
