Ricky Hatton: I dream of Floyd Re-match

Ricky Hatton has revealed that he dreams of a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jnr!! If he ever returns to the ring. The Hitman, who has been out of action since his brutal knockout at the hands of Manny Pacquiao last May, says he’d love to put the record straight against Mayweather, to whom he lost in 2007.

Hatton couldn't even do what Floyd Sn. told him to do. How the hell is he going to beat the guy that does all that **** ?

I guess he figures if he can stay away from the ring post he'll be o.k !!! LMAO

Hatton doesn't realize he lost because Floyd is just better than him.

I like Hatton but if he couldnt beat Floyd in his prime then he definetly wont be able to do it now. He should have retired after the loss to Mayweather but I realise why he decided to carry on. There was a chance of becoming p4p king

Ricky's doesn't want to come back and fight "fighters who he'd have KO'd in his prime" (Ricky's words not mine). This is an excuse for not wanting to come back at 140 and face the likes Bradley, Khan or Alexander. The fact is, Ricky's spell at 140 was an easy ride, he didn't beat any one who was slick. His best win is Kostya. He conveniently ducked the other big guy at 140 who'd have give him trouble, Cotto. Hatton makes it sound like he beat plenty of fighters with the ability that Alexander and Bradley have, during his prime, but he didn't, the only guy Hatton beat who was better than Tim or Devon is Kostya and he was at the end of his career.

It písses me off that Ricky looks down his nose at the current 140ers because everyone would give him trouble and even in his prime, he'd steam roll Khan, but Bradley and Alexander would have given him a lot of trouble and perhaps beaten him. Cotto would have beaten Hatton if Hatton had took him on instead of taking on Cotto's sloppy seconds in Maussa.

Fúck off Ricky, you earned your matches with Floyd and Pacman the first time around. Want to fight them again? Come back and win some matches against the top 140ers.

When all said and done I don' think this is ever going to happen, I mean it was a push to get the fight the first time around! He got shown up pretty bad at the end of the fight but the thing was apparently he wanted to continue but the ref didn't let that happen! If he really wanted to fight Floyd again I would of seen it happen straight after but he went for Manny Pacquiao and got ****ed over pretty damn easy!

So really this will never happen and I don't believe that Ricky will ever grace the ring again! He was a good fight when he wanted to be but not elite which got shown by losing to both Floyd and Pacquiao!!
