I'm not a Floyd hater or a Manny hater. I respect both guys for what they do.

But, I serisously doubt this fight will ever happen. IMO it looks like Floyd is 'ducking' Manny. I might be wrong but thats what it seems to me.

It's a shame because the fight would be huge. Manny ain't afraid to lose (probs cus he already has) but Floyd seems to be.

Surely a massive payday would cushion a loss for either fighter and if you go by the name of 'Money' you would think you would do whatever to get your hands on the cash!

There is no shame for either fighter in losing to the other!

He better fight Sergio Martinez or Paul Williams if this fight doesn't go thru or Floyd will indeed look like a coward, but I don't think he can make enough money against those guys to satisfy his own ego...
No Mayweather wanted no cut off date, and Pacquiao refused, so he offered the 14 day cut off, Pac still refused. Now that it's Pac offering, it's a reasonable compromise, where was this compromise in January? Besides that, and although i do think Mayweather is the bigger draw, they should agree on a 50/50 split, or a 40/40 or 45/45 with the winner taking the extra 10-20 %. In the end the winner will be the bigger star in the sport.

I say 60-40 to the winner....
How about the fact that Floyd outsold the Pac-Cotto fight by about $10 million at the cable box, and about $7 million at the gate?

How many millions of dollars are insignificant to you?

@Vito, because people bought the Floyd vs. Shane Mosley because it seemed like challenge. If Floyd wants to play around, Pacman can go fight Margarito at Cowboys stadium, get 50,000 people in the building and then what will the gate be? Then Pacman will control the gate money and have the bigger edge. Time to stop playing stick f**k and make the fight, 60-40 to the winner. If Floyd thinks he is the baddest, then why not fight for the biggest piece of the pie. I think Manny would accept that. Kinda like what Roy Jones vs. Hopkins did for their rematch, extra 10% if there is a KO...

This goes to show who keeps putting the roadblocks in the negotiations, if Floyd never demanded for the OST test then we would of had the fight already. The the test are in agreement and Floyd wants more money... Wake the fuc# up people and realize that Floyd is making these negotiations harder then they really have to be.. Fu#$% baby..

Pac sells out Cowboys Stadium if that happens with Margarito. Huge Mexican fan base in Texas.

This isn't golf, though. It isn't a tournament where the winner gets the most. In golf, and horse racing, the prize money is established beforehand. In boxing, the prize money is determined by the guys' ability to bring in said money.

In boxing, the person who generates the most deserves the higher payday. If Pacquiao generates more than Floyd, I will be the loudest one screaming that Pac should get a bigger payday.

Pac's last four fights since he got the DLH bonanza: 4.025 million buys

FMJ's last four fights since he got the DLH bonanza: 5.925 million buys

Simple math shows Floyd at 59.5% and pac at 40.5%.

Cool. I just wanted to be clear so when the negotiations fall apart again, we all acknowledge who broke the self-imposed conditions of negotiation.
