I still dont get why people dont understand that Mosley was signed to fight Berto when Pac made the Clottey fight. A week later the earthquake hit and Berto had to cancel.....what was Pac suppose to do, leave the Clottey contract and go after Mosley? Dude GET REAL

Don't listen to anything any of these guys say, from Lil Webbie, Twizzler, Sugar Water or Check(nuts)hook, they all skype with each other simultaneously to express their shared love for the "king".

Point is 2 years ago no one would have ever expected Pac to be competitive with or much less beat Clottey, but now because he has surpassed expectations in such a short amount of time they want to find excuses/reasons to be dismissive of him, none of these guys would understand "context" if they found they found it in Mayweathers' draws which I imagine they would all love the opportunity to do.

I expect the fight to get very close to a pick 'em by the time fight night rolls around. But we'll see what Vegas thinks.

Hold up? I thought that team Pacquiao compared Cotto
to the Floyd/JMM fight? Now they want to compare the
Cotto fight with the Mosley fight, when Clottey was the
fight after Cotto and Mosley after JMM. Mosley #'s still
did more than Cotto's, so how can team Pac say that they
are about even? And how can they not count the Clottey
fight like it never happened? Weak argument. I have no
dispute with 50/50 because I want to see the fight but feel
that it could go 52/48 in favor of Mayweather. Something
tells me that Pacquiao is going to take the less share but
that is just my opinion and doesn't have to mean it will be
so. I just want Mayweather to finally expose Pac because
the majority of Pac fans are annoying.

Not really, provide evidence to show me otherwise, unless you are part of the pacquaio or mayweather camp in charge of negotiating, then why should we take your word as the truth.

How about they both go fight somebody else if a 50/50 can not be made. Neither will make the money fighting anyone else.
How about winner takes lions share?
Floyd is worth what he thinks in his mind and Manny is worth what he thinks in his mind.
Hell Brady has more Superbowls but Manning has more money.
It would be great to see but I'm not going to bust a blood vessel defending who deserves more. I do believe Floyd deserves no less than 50% but also feel comfortable if Manny feels he is no less than a 50% fighter. I can respect that.
They both want the paycheck so who needs it or wants it more.
Floyd go try and get your 40 million from Paul Williams or whomever and Manny go try and get your 40 million from JMM or whomever.
Can either fighter live with the consequences of walking away from a 50/50 split...that's the question. Are there alternate fight(s) that they are willing to make that will subsidize that loss?

I doubt very much there will be a 50/50 split. Not that it matters - from my understanding, the PPV split wasn't 50/50 the first go-around anyway.
