Because Pacquiao sold 1.25 with Cotto, He had leverage going into negotation with Mayweather.

For example the value of a Mayweather/Pac bout far surpasses the value of any other fight in boxing, meaning more money will be spent around the event-- from sponsorships/site fees--casinos are willing to shell out more money to host the event, which then becomes available to the participants....premium value. Which is why some fights are valuable enough to put on HBO PPV versus Showtime.

Okay so then you're using Clottey/Pac as the measuring stick? Pac sold out the venue without the support of an HBO 24/7 with no help from Clottey, as his fan base consists of him and his mom.

How was the predetermined value of Mayweather-Hatton...determined? And why did Mayweather get a bigger share?

IF you really think Pac sold that place out by himself you're sadly mistaken. Look that was a brand new stadium and a lot of people we're curious. For instance the people who couldn't afford to go to the dallas cowboys game now could buy tickets to get in the stadium for a lot less. Yeah manny had some fans there but with the really cheap tickets I think a lot of people just bought tickets to say "I was there", or "I've been to the dallas stadium" the whole selling point was the stadium not pacquiao. All we heard was the 1.2 billion dollar stadium. I give pac his credit but you have to figure in cheap tickets low as $10? And people wanting to go to the new dallas cowboys stadium. And to say noone went to see Clottey is just uneducated.

Manny Pacquiao is a fool. He should have took the fight before and stop being afraid they'll find his steroids. He didn't even give the fans the fight they wanted to see over a dumb ass blood test. He took another fight and sold less ppv's than Mayweather. So now Mayweather has the right to ask for more money. Since the Mosley fight also did better than Pacman's Cotto fight.

This guy wants to be in politics not boxing. He's maxed out his boxing career. He knows if he fights Floyd and loses he won't make anymore money in his career. While Floyd taking a L would only be his first loss. He doesn't want the fight.

You guys think just because these guys are at the top that they still won't negotiate purses? The bigger draw deserves the bigger pot. If Pacman was the bigger draw he would have sold more but he didn't. They want to use the 1.25 for the Cotto fight and ignore the 700k from the Clottey fight. How much did Mayweather vs Marquez sell? Yep, more than Pacman vs Clottey. So Floyd is the bigger draw.

The truth: Floyd doesn't want this fight to happen. He'll find more excuses to dodge Pacman. The biggest fight in history and Floyd is being a primadonna? What a *****!!!!!!
