Well Floyd didn't use the shoulder roll against Mosley and not much against Marquez...

The only time he still really uses it is when he's on the ropes...he keeps a high guard now instead and is very good at countering off that guard...

Actually the shoulder roll does work against southpaws, just not in the CONVENTIONAL stance. You also have to be a southpaw to use a shoulder roll against another southpaw. Sort of like Zab Judah.
