++ Pacman is the true draw OR HAS BEEN up until 2010, in theory... Mayweather has crept into marketing star status, mainly building on the backs of popularist fights from Gatti to De La Hoya mainly... the spiteful, anti-social rhetoric, which characterizes his egomanical rantings, have now, themselves become acculturated... he's now made a virtue (financially speaking) of being 'the villian'... and he's cashing in on his pop cultural 'infamy'...

So I would say based on popularity their both equals knowing pac cotto are both foreigners and getting those huge numbers.

Mayweather keeps on saying it was him not Delahoya who made the 2.4 million record for ppv now we know it was really DELAHOYA who had all the fans- 2.4million.

Note: Mosely owns the gate for number of attendance in the staple center. It shows how big a draw he is.

Plus, don't forget that there are "no" 24/7 and huge marketing, commercials for the Pacquiao Clottey fight.

24/7 and commercials where done only for the Mayweather, Mosely and Pacquiao Cotto fight.
And Mosely has been in more PPV fights than Cotto

So who really is the bigger draw? Or are they equal?

I'm gonna go with Mayweather cause he has, what I think, are people that tune in to root him on and at the same time has boxing fans that wanna see him lose. His haters, are probably more interested in a Mayweather fight then a lot of his hardcore fans are.

Rofl i love how TS acts like Mosley is some big draw because he has the biggest gate at the staple center vs Margarito.. funny thing is that crowd was about 80-90% in Margs favor ...

Floyd is a better draw not by a huge margin

Pac has done well for a little guy and non American..

Both owe it too Dela Hoya truth be told!

I'm kind of in the middle on these two but..

Floyd, and it's no contest right now.

The drama with Mayweather brings better pull.

With Manny (sans Oscar), only his offense is the showcase for the bout. There's no story or anything to go with it. He's Mike without the Tyson.

With Floyd (sans Marquez), it's: Could the guy in front of him beat him AND finally shut his darn obnoxious mouth about being unbeaten, etc?

Floyd and his family running their yaps is also bound to highlight some sideshow before the fight.

And at this point, Jr. will carry the media promotion leading into any of his fights.
