fights are made in loads of countries! what you on about! boxing is america? whats that supposed to mean! boxing, like many other sports, was first seen in britain. Lewis, benn, cooper, etc...!

And pls don't forget that HBO PPV numbers are only done in the usa. So being a foreigner should be considered. Pacquiao Mayweather will be done in american soil.

Globally PAcquiao is more popular, but where talking about the country which they fight at and there trying to sell ppv to americans.

So being an american is a huge plus for a fighter.

Any country will back up there kind its common sense.

I voted for pacquio because of his exciting style which is casual fan friendly. Floyd on the other hand...

what you have written is 100% absolutely true........Pac is more exciting + fan friendly (especially to the casual fan)......

however your vote is not based on reality or any actual information.

personally i say Mayweather is a bigger draw....he has outdrawn Pac consistently (with 3 common opponents). I would say the Pac/Cotto vs SSM/PBF is even given Cotto is a far bigger draw than Shane, but SSM vs PBF had more promotion.

that said if Pac ends up fighting Margo in Texas themexican + phillipino fans could push that buyrate above 1.4 million.

Based on Mayweather/Moley PPV doing just over 1M, and with all the 24/7, commercials, billboards, hype. Then Pac/Cotto did just as much with hardly any adds. I say both fighters is 50/50. We all know now that DLH was the cash cow all along.

Do your research Hbo PPV numbers are usa based only when fought on american soil. Except for some fights like Hatton vs pac and Hatton vs Mayweather who had PPV numers in U.K.

Pac vs Mayweather will be fought in USA. In the philippines it's not ppv as well as other countries.

PPv is only sold in cable networks that are tied up with HBO, hence, american viewers.

If we add other broadcast poviders across the world obviously it is pac who is more popular. He is known all over the world for his exciting fightinf style.

But the PPV cash cow debate is based on american hbo ppv.
