Seems to me that the Mayweather fans here really want to fatten Money's Wallet. I could care less, 50/50 make the damn fight. According to your logic then sence mosley and mayweather outsold pac/clotty then if Manny where to fight Mosley even though he lost but had better numbers that mosley should get more then pac?

what I'm trying to say is that Pac Clottey fight shouldn't be part of knowing who is the better draw.

Clottey is not a house hold name and not known even to some boxing fans.

That is why there was less promotion and no 24/7 they where expecting those numbers only.

coz we all know good ppv numbers are made from 2 great fighter competing.

The real comparison is Pac Cotto and Mayweather Mosely.

Coz cotto and mosely are some what the same in popularity.

Somewhat. But without a doubt in my mind, Cotto is a bigger draw than Shane Mosley. Remember Cotto-Marg was PPV, Mosley-Marg was not. And Marg was a bigger star after the Cotto fight.

Has Shane Mosley ever been the main attraction?

You maybe right. But I ask you this, Do you think Floyd will ever sell close to 2.4million ppv he sold with DLH, if he fights a fighter that isn't pac?

They need each other in my view to get that numbers.

Floyd fighting others will be around 1.4million and below.

Same as Pac fighting others will be 1.4 and below.

Mayweather is the bigger draw in terms of PPV revenue but Pacquiao is more popular.

Pacquiao's core fanbase, which is the Philippines, do not pay for PPV fights. They are broadcast for free in the Philippines.

Draw and popularity don't always go hand in hand.

One isn't a bigger draw then the other. You put these two together, and past numbers are irrelevant. This fight will break some records.

Obviously. If you put two people that have enormous fan bases of course you're going to get record breaking numbers.
