thats actually pretty funny. Im not a Floyd homer. Ive said all along that I think he did duck the Margarito & Cotto fights but I dont rip him for it because I think he only did it strictly because of size. I think he felt he would beat all the WW's back then but he also felt that there would be a chance that he would lose just because of size. He was coming into the ring at like 146 back then and he would kill himself if he lost to an inferior guy like Margarito strictly because he was too big for him to handle.
Thats why I think he took the time off. Unfortunatly other things happened since but I bet anything that Floyd would fight a prime Cotto & Margarito right now that he's comfortable at the weight. I think thats what it was all about. He felt that guys could bully him before but they cant now. Its an even game. If they were prime right now then he would be all over a Cotto or Margarito fightComment

Im just saying that most fighters wouldnt start ****ing around doing amateurish stuff and not engaging about a minute and a half after they seriously rocked their opponent if they were in prime shape. I mean, hurting your opponent twice in a round generally inspires you to go after them at least a little, especially when you havent been seriously threatened offensively during that period. That is, unless your stamina is awful and you already gassed yourself out.you cant say the one he dominated like he just outdid everything to Floyd. He landed the 2 big punches. Before that he wasnt winning the round and even with that Floyd won the last 30 seconds pretty big. Its not like the 2nd round means thats what Floyd would do anymore than the Chop burst he had means what he would do. He just caught Floyd with a good punch but its not like Floyd was just getting drilled by him or had nothing left. He walked right back at him both times & was swinging like a couple of seconds later on the 2nd one
I dont think Mosley would have beaten Floyd at any part of his career(although he did surprise me when he hurt Floyd so bad, so I suppose its somewhat possible), because sylistically Mosley has never been that great against technically sound boxers despite his speed. but that doesnt change the fact that Mosley went a little bit downhill after the Margarito fight. not a gigantic change, but significant.Comment

Pac would beat the dog mess outta that gassing out in the 2nd round 38 yr old who lost to Cotto who Pac made his biiiiiizatch.LOL yea thats definitely why roach was begging mosley to come down to 143 so pac would have the balls to get in the ring with him then? is that the best you can do dumb *******? you cant defend it, just say pac ducked a legit ww champ at 147 who is a very hard puncher....because its trueComment

who said he was different? I knew that the same Mosley would show up in the Mayweather fight. THe people making excuses are just haters who will hate anyways. I also knew that that same Mosley who fought Margarito wasn't going to trouble Mayweather much. Margarito has **** for a defense. I knew that Mosley wasn't going to hit Mayweather with the same punches that he hit Mosley with. I'm not taking anything away from Mosley beacause that was a great win, but Mayweather is light years above Margarito in terms of skills.Comment
