you cant say the one he dominated like he just outdid everything to Floyd. He landed the 2 big punches. Before that he wasnt winning the round and even with that Floyd won the last 30 seconds pretty big. Its not like the 2nd round means thats what Floyd would do anymore than the Chop burst he had means what he would do. He just caught Floyd with a good punch but its not like Floyd was just getting drilled by him or had nothing left. He walked right back at him both times & was swinging like a couple of seconds later on the 2nd oneMosley looked tired after the end of the second round. the one he dominated. that was amazing to me, because its not even like he went 100% against Floyd even when he had him hurt.
that doesnt mean he was necessarily shot or magically 'old' or anything...but he certainly seemed to have lost a step from the Margarito fight, based on his terrible conditioning. it was also really weird that he started doing that amateurish hand roll thing in the third round, when he hadnt even particularly missed any punches and wasnt countered or anything since that really good 2nd round...
I dont know, he was still a live opponent, but he was not as well conditioned or sharp as Ive seen him.
on the other hand, Mosley was being pot-shotted by Mayorga, of all people...
sooo...he wasnt drastically different from the Margarito fight, but he went down a notch over that year + of inactivity, imo.
anyways...live boxing is on right now, so...Comment

Shane at 38 who hasnt fought in a year and a half loses to most of the top of the ww division. He was gassed after the 2nd. Floyd didnt MAKE Shane gas out after the 2nd....lol,,Mosley still beats the majority of the WW right now imo..
You are right Mosley wasn't much different, the opponents were however..
I honestly think outside of Floyd Mosley has a good chance vs anyone at ww.. Berto etc.. even Pac for 4-5 rounds if it goes over that he gets stopped i think.Comment

I wouldnt be upset about you saying that if I didnt know for a fact that you wouldnt say that if Pac had been the one that fought him. I know you would be talking different and you know it tooComment

Styles make fights. Stylistically Shane had no chance against Floyd, in his prime he would have won more than one round though. Probably 4.Comment

if so, why did Pac turn the fight down???that thread was me saying shane is old and an easier opponent than pac, ...I posted it in repsonse to your thread saying " everyone said Floyd was scared and Shane was his biggest threat and blah blah blah...." shane wasnt an isnt...Shane is 38 and hadnt fought in over a year...
"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."Comment

LOL yea thats definitely why roach was begging mosley to come down to 143 so pac would have the balls to get in the ring with him then? is that the best you can do dumb *******? you cant defend it, just say pac ducked a legit ww champ at 147 who is a very hard puncher....because its trueComment
