Just Rewatched Mosley-Margarito and......

thats the same Mosley who fought Floyd. You could say that physically he looks a little different but the only thing really different about those 2 fights is that one fight was Margarito as the opponent and the other fight it was Mayweather. Shane fought basically the same exact way except Floyd is just so much more faster & skilled than Margarito..

If you look at that fight, Shane was still that same jittery type fighter. He wasnt as tensed up as he was in the Floyd fight but he was still doing unecessary movement & pawing non stop with that jab like 4 times always before he does anything else. He did that in the fight with Floyd the whole time and as soon as he was about to explode, Floyd would throw a stiff jab and throw his timing all off.

The punches he hit Margarito with were the same right hands over & over again. You arent going to hit Floyd like that. In the Margarito fight he also was breathing hard in the early rounds. Margarito was just so slow. He was applying pressure but Shane could always just wait & explode on him. He couldnt do that to Floyd.

Rewatch that fight and you will see that Shane is basically fighting the same style. He didnt let his hands go that much in that fight either. Now you could still argue that a prime Shane would beat Floyd but you cant make the case that Floyd fought an old ass Shane that was so differnet from the guy that Margarito fought. You cant say he got old overnight. It was basically the same exact guy and that same guy was the one who everyone said Floyd was scared of & wouldnt fight. The same guy who alot of people thought would give Floyd hell

It's the same Mosley but some people had their excuses ready before Mayweather even stepped in the ring with Mosley. It was a no win situation with those people.

that can be debated but what cant be debated is alot of people thought Floyd was scared of that version of Shane. Alot of people thought that version would give Floyd hell, and so on. After this win they make it sound like Shane was so much different from that version and got old overnight. Thats not the case. Do you agree with that? Again, you can believe that he was old, past his prime, & whatever else but you cant say that he got old overnight compared to the guy who fought Margarito. They were damn near the same guy and thats all Im saying. It may not be in regards to you but thats how alot of other people are trying to play it

No offence homie but those kinda threads dont mean much to me because you can see the pure bias in it. Its the kinda threads that make people look good both ways & so on.

As for the fight, you cant just say what Shane did to Margarito like Floyd is Margarito. He's not going to be able to do the same things to Floyd no matter what. Did you see how slow Tony was and how he was just walking straight at him with no defense? Thats night & day to Floyd so ofcourse he's going to do somethings a little better. He hit Floyd with a couple of body shots also but every single time he got hit right back with a 1-2 just a second later when he would try again
