Larry Holmes vs Lennox Lewis

Holmes did not hit harder than Lewis, but Holmes UD.

Lennox would struggle with a guy who has a better jab than him, similar to the MErcer fight except Larry can capitalise.

Larry was no huge puncher, he can **** but Lennox chin is underrated and the two times he was KO'd were from fairly big punchers where he was under conditioned and under trained. The McCall punch he got up from as well.

Under those circumstances I'd pick a Holmes UD or SD. It'd be very close Lewis might be able to win it..... in theory

I dunno..I only voted for Lewis by decision because when I was growing up Lewis was the undisputed champ and laid the smackdown on my man David Tua..Also had the most lethal jab ay..But at the same time I've only seen Holmes fight when Mike Tyson knocked his ass out so I'll just stick with Lewis for now

The late 70s Holmes that defeated Shavers twice had a phenomenal fighting pace and a lethal jab that would UD most HWs including Lewis.

No way in hell anyone should have gotten up from right Shavers nailed Holmes with but Larry did. It proves the old boxing adage that a great chin beats a great punch.

Lewis was awesome, but Holmes had a decent chin, only got cracked by the hugest of 1 punch KO artists. I think Holmes might win a decision.
