I wouldn't mind seeing Bradley-Pacquiao at a catchweight @ 144Lbs. Seeing how Manny has had some fights at catchweights and all.

Who is Bradley gonna fight that's a draw at 147 if he can't get Pac and Floyd? Berto's fight with Quintana did jack **** and it was in Florida. Alexander has the potential to develop a really big fan base because of the St Louis factor that Cory Spinks benefited from and Khan is pretty much already there. Bradley needs to get with the program. But at the same time I don't understand why Alexander isn't fighting his mandatory either. Mabuza is coming off a good win over Holt and Koletnik just lost to Khan.

He's not getting a payday before Canelo and Khan. Floyd will fight them before he even thinks of fighting a guy like Bradley that brings nothing to the table.

If he doesn't like the purse for a fight with Devon, he should fight Khan next. Khan would get him a bigger payday at 140 than any other payday he can get at 147 excluding Pac and Floyd.

Honestly, Bradley just needs to pump his brakes and slow down. It would be wiser for him to clean out his division and get some more fans on his side. Bradley says he wants to build a fight with Devon so they can both cash in, well why is that? Because both don't have a big fan base. Now Bradley thinks one win at WW will all of a sudden get him a fight with PBF or Pac!? C'mon son!! Same thing with Paul Williams. Although a good fighter like Bradley, they have no real fan base. Not saying that they don't have fans at all but come on man. Did you see how empty the house was when Williams fought Cintron? Matter fact, I remember the commentators saying how not many people were there. Unfortunately, this isn't the old days where you had to fight each and everyone out there in order to build yourself up in the public eye. Now you need more than just your fighting skill. Example: Floyd was doing nowhere near the numbers he does now before he fought Oscar and brought his "Money" persona into the eye of the public. Now, whether you like him or hate him people pay to see him fight. He had all the skills in the world before, but it took something else in order to get people paying hard earned money to see him fight.

bradley is a scared *****, i don't care what anybody says, bradley is afraid of devon. think about it people he gave up a belt so he wouldn't fight him, then said if devon get pass urango its on, well he clearly got pass urango then what happen, bradley wants to let it build up like there is not enough money already for the two best jww to fight each other, then maidana pulls out, u would think he would want to take the fight with devon for more money than the maidana fight but he wants to fight at welter weight for less money, khan and devon r down with the 4 man showdown which is good for all fight fans and great them because the winner will be the next superstar, but bradley won't do it cause he "fights for money"? thats bull**** either his math is off or he is scared.

All Bradley has to do is win against Alexander and the money and marketability he's looking for will come with it. But he doesn't want to attempt to because he really thinks he can't beat Alexander or he would come out of the fight damaged. Just take Vasquez and Marquez for example. Their fight tonight is gonna draw like 10,000 fans which isn't bad for smaller fighters. Ducking doesn't get rewarded contrary to popular belief. Unless your fan base is so big like and blind that of Calzaghe, Lopez, and Erdei that you can draw crowds no matter who you fight.

Regardless of what anyone on this site or anyone else thinks, boxers do not box for pride or championship belts. They box for MONEY. All of them, including Pac and Mayweather, will do whatever they need to to make the most money.

Pac avoided fights with Juan Diaz, Nate Campbell and Joel Casamayor at 135. Yet no one griped about him not cleaning out the division before he moved up to 147 and tooks millions of dollars more to fight De La Hoya. He also could have fought Bradley and Alexander at 140 and cleaned out the division instead of taking on a B-class fighter in Clottey. No one complained about that either (except me). The same thing applies to Floyd. He moved from 130 to 147 so he could get a fight with Oscar and make the big money. The only difference with Floyd is he tried to secure fights with the best guys at 140 (Hatton, Cotto, Tyszu) before moving up. Bradley is trying to position himself for the biggest payday possible. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I would do the same thing if I were in his position.
                You are 100% correct.

The funny thing is..... this is not new, the sport of boxing has always been that way.

Most of the people crying "ducking" are either a young fan new to the sport, or a recent WWF convert.

Prizefighters dont "duck"..... they want the money.

There will always be a young lion coming through the ranks, whom somebody will be accused of avoiding.

back that comment up with some facts and thoughtful reasoning, or else its not worth the paper.

If Mayweather cannot make a fight with Pac, he is going to have to look for another "Shane".

Floyd fought Marquez coming up from LW, and Pac fought a slightly-better-than-journeyman Clottey, why is it not conceivable that Bradley could also get the nod - with either Pac or Floyd - if a date became available?
