Rubbish, to-date..... Bradley has beaten the best at 140, he is the man at JWW.

His best offer to fight Alexander was 150k.

Are you telling me that Clottey "beat the best" at WW to get his payday with Pac?

Both Pac and May will retire soon, come on guys..... you cant see that there are only one-or-two HUGE paydays left on the table before the "non-superstars" are forced to fight each other for average paydays again.

Everyone wants to cash in on the Floyd / Manny phenomenon.

Bradley is putting himself in the 1-1. For non-racing people..... 1-1 means one-back and one-out.... so, he is positioning himself to take advantage of the situation should the opportunity arise, and who could blame him.

The Jr WW division coud really put boxing back on a pedestal as well as the Jr MW division but these idiot promoters are poorly advising theirfighters and will further dissapoint us fans from seeing great matchups! A lot of these guys fight for HBO and I really wish HBO would step up and demand some real fights instead of a bunch of msmatches and so called elite boxers beating up washe up has beens. I've been a fan of Bradley's for a while, but he needs to call out Devon, Khan, Judah, and Madonna....THEN, if Floyd and Pac are still fighting (which I honestly hope they are not)he can call them out. Just like Khan and Devon have the same road they can take.

Alexander should fight Peterson or Maidana (if Maidana will fight him) and after the Abregu fight, they can get it on if Pac and May turn him down.

Who knows how much Bradley makes fighting, it might only be like 125,000 dollars and he wants a million dollar payday instead. If he beats Abregu and can't get a big fight at welter, then comes back to jr welter and avoids Alexander, I'll call him a ducker but right now, let him go get that money.
          good post, i second that

Now its official Bradley ducked Devon and nobody should defend him anymore. Why doesn't he stay at 140 and clean out the division if he's so good? He wants to move up to 147 and fight some guy that nobody cares about.

Give up your title if you're scared of fighting Devon.

If you're going to move up to 147... at least fight someone like Mosley or Berto. Don't waste your time fighting guys who people don't care about. Why should he get a chance to fight Manny or Floyd when he hasn't earned the right to fight them and he's not a star?

            Bradley. :****you:

The only way he will lure Pacquaio into a fight is if he defeats Abregu, but looks bad in doing it, Pac/Mayweather can't come to an agreement on a fight and Margarito suddenly develops an injury and cannot fight in Mexico (I don't believe any state in the U.S. will give him his license back). He may get a chance to fight Floyd if the Floyd/Pac fight falls through or, if it happens, after Floyd KOs Pac and sends him into retirement.

Get a grip dude. Its like you think that the whole world revolves around you, and just because your favourite fight doesnt get made you start calling "ducker".

Why should either of them take such a huge risk for peanuts? Oh, of course..... now I see why..... coz its Saturday night, and you're bored.

What if Bradley were to get 2 more creditable wins under his belt, which could put him in a position (if the timing is right) for a multi-million dollar payday to jump to 147 for a Mayweather fight as Floyd looks to wind down his career. Alexander could find himself in exactly the same position.

It may not be the best fighter that gets that HUGE payday, it may be the fighter that has made the best decisions as far as career options go.

You think that it is wise for Bradley to risk that NOW against Alexander for peanuts ?

He will get one chance at this, coz when Mayweather and Pacquiao retire, that fkn huge pile of money will not be sitting there within the grasp of either fighter.

If Alexander wanted to force the issue early, he could have made Bradley a decent offer..... but 150k..... you gotta be kidding.

And here, you act like the decision will be up to Bradley.....
" If you're going to move up to 147... at least fight someone like Mosley or Berto "

The decision will be up to Floyd or Manny, Bradley just needs to put himself in a viable position to negotiate.

Good move if he can land it.

Although both would be called cherry pickers.

He lsoes, they P4P best and he can go down to 140.

Who said Devon is my favorite fighter? I like him, but he's not one of my favorite fighters.

Beating Mosley and Berto at WW would get him two creditable wins you idiot. Beating B-level fighters at WW is not going to get him any credit from the fans or the top fighters. Why would Floyd fight him when he's not a star, he's not an A-side boxer, he's not popular, and he has no belts that Floyd wants?

Clearing out the 140 division and moving up to 147 later would make him more money in the long run.

What is up with all the hate on this post? The man is doing exactly what Mayweather and Pac did and that is trying to put himself in position to make the most money he possibly can. Regardless of what anyone on this site or anyone else thinks, boxers do not box for pride or championship belts. They box for MONEY. All of them, including Pac and Mayweather, will do whatever they need to to make the most money.

Pac avoided fights with Juan Diaz, Nate Campbell and Joel Casamayor at 135. Yet no one griped about him not cleaning out the division before he moved up to 147 and tooks millions of dollars more to fight De La Hoya. He also could have fought Bradley and Alexander at 140 and cleaned out the division instead of taking on a B-class fighter in Clottey. No one complained about that either (except me). The same thing applies to Floyd. He moved from 130 to 147 so he could get a fight with Oscar and make the big money. The only difference with Floyd is he tried to secure fights with the best guys at 140 (Hatton, Cotto, Tyszu) before moving up. Bradley is trying to position himself for the biggest payday possible. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I would do the same thing if I were in his position.
