The athletes can't use the PEDs because there is potential for them to be tested at random. If there is a scheduled cutoff, then they know when they can start using again. So, I'd say this article is pretty much wrong in suggesting there was a cutoff, even if they were tested for the last time 18 days before the fight.

This is a non-story, if that info even turns out to be true.

    What?

The entire program is a deterrent. People do not know when they will be tested, so they are deterred from cheating. If you have an agreed cutoff date, like Pac wants, you are 100% sure of when testing will stop, so you have a window to cheat.

Would I have liked to have seen them tested closer? Sure.
Is this information actually correct? Coming from Bob Arum, call me skeptical. That guy is a bag of ****.

But what you were implying was that Mayweather was doing something that was never done in a negative way, disagreeing with OST.
          Definition of revolutionary:

radically new or innovative; outside or beyond established procedure, principles, etc.:

I'd say it would be fair to call something that was "never done" revolutionary on the basis that it is "new" and "beyond established procedure".

Everyone read that thread. Based on the information given from WADA, there's no way for Arum to know when WADA ceased blood testing as the results haven't yet been released to the public.

Even if they were last tested that long before a fight, they still wouldn't have known about it.

Man had been talking about going to the moon for thousands of years......it was REVOLUTIONARY when they actaully did it, not when they talked about it

That's incorrect. Andre and Victor parted ways months ago.
