Pacquiao looks like he's willing to give in a little to just get the fight made. He knows it's what the fans want to see and it's going to be his last fight. You can see that team Mayweather doesn't want any part of it and hope he retires before they have to fight him. You watch, soon as Manny retires, Floyd will call him out n claim that he ducked him

QUICK QUESTION to all the *****'s

When in all the history of Mayweather's past opponents has there been so much trouble to make the fight???? Why does Floyd keep throwing more n more spanners into the works to stop the fight going through???? When has Floyd been more scared of an opponent???

At that time there were quite a few articles in which PED experts were interviewed, about whether taking steroids for well under 24 days would really be long enough to significantly enhance a boxer's performance (and it would have to be for well under 24 days, in order for the steroids to be completely out of the bloodstream in time for the post-fight blood test) - and while there wasn't unanimity, the majority of them didn't think that was long enough. The point being that steroids only work indirectly, by allowing you to build muscles during training, which by definition takes time. Furthermore, there are some PED experts who even doubt whether steroids really help boxers at all, because they tend to make boxers muscle-bound, and therefore less fluid, which can actually work against boxers (whereas they said that steroids definitely enhance the performance in other sports such as running and American football).

I'm not going to spend hours hunting for those articles now, life's too short.

If Mayweather vs Mosley was fixed, then what was Pacquiao vs Clottey?

Why would it take you hours? What do you mean "at that time?" Did these PED experts change their mind? The bottom line is that NO PED expert has ever said that. So - like Manny - either you are lying or misinformed, which is it?

I repeat, NO "PED Expert" ever said that. None. You said most experts and now it'll take you hours to find something? Hours? Try forever.

Manny Pacquiao is on nanomachines, people! The NSAC doesn't have a test for nanomachines! Pac will always get away with cheating until someone comes up with a test that can detect them.

What Dave is saying is correct, the reason steroid testing hasn't been so big in boxing is because the common belief is that steroids and the extra bulk they produce actually "hinder" a boxer's performance, they make the muscles tight and rigged. I mean, look at Shane, Vargas etc, did they perform exceptionally well while on steroids??? If anything it may have had a total negative impact on their careers in the long run.

Now steroids are actually bad for boxers.

You can't make this stuff up.

Pac beat Clottey as expected, and Floyd beat Shane as expected. Heres the deal.....No matter who Floyd had fought (Paulie, Shane, Matthew Hatton<---heard his name tossed around at the time), it makes the best sense money wise.

Now you have the fans (and sadly the "fan boys"), who are willing to leave their wives to see this fight happen. Its getting that intense. It seems like a plot from the beginning. Give them a taste, then leave them wanting more.

What this does is now, makes 2x the money they wouldve made had they fought in March. March to me was never realistic. A fight this big, is not gonna just have a road to Vegas/Dallas promo with 1.5 weeks of promoting. 24/7 will rise to a whole new level as interest from people who could care less about the sport and are pro MMA.

This fight will get DONE. This just seems to me nothing more than a way to market this fight and get everyone all worked up. Heck i wouldnt be surprised if the PPV cost went up. It wouldnt matter because we are going to BUY IT. Bob Arum and GBP behind all this just makes it kinda hard to believe that this fight is on its last lifeline. Now the money is going to 3x over what would have been made in March. This whole drug testing is nothing more than to create sides and make people tune in, and have their passion for one fighter become stronger, while making hate for the other just as strong. It pleases the masses.
I'm inclined to believe most of your post. I think they can continue to make $ outside of each other as long as one of them doesn't lose. The $$ and demand will be so great that the fight will have to happen and the fans will pay for it.

$79.95 PPV is going to happen.
