I remember maidana in the ortiz post fight interview saying that ''khan is nothing'' and khan was ringside. What I think he means though, is shutting up critics who say hes ducking maidana, thats the main point

Khan does not need Hatton to promote him. Infact I find it somewhat hypocritical that Hatton is telling him not to fight in Vegas and fight in the Uk instead when he fled the Uk to go fight in the US in search of $$$.

That being said Maidana cant speak a word of English, I doubt he needs to be "shut up", But Khan probably meant the critics who keep mentioning Maidana to him all the time.

Maidana has a broken back so wont be fighting for a while, I think its too soon for him to fight again in July. What I dont understand is why Khans camp didnt fight for almost 6 months since Salita until May against Malignaggi, Too long a gap and then to short a gap foro July.

I disagree I think khan will fight bradley in the next 2 or 3 fight, I think he is nearly ready for him just a couple of more fights the one in july and then one at the end of the year, if he wins them both im pretty sure the bradley fight will be made. Even if khan loses against bradley he still has a future, I think that is how freddie would see it

Lol at your comment. so many stars on there......Are you angry? First of all I'm a boxing fan, just because Khan is British doesn't mean i should kiss his arse and be a fanboy. Secondly: I can see a hype job a mile off and was just stating things how i see them. I'm not a Kevin Mitchell fan either, nothing against the guy but I'm not a fan. And lastly: Learn how to spell because i don't debate with illiterate twats.

amir khan's confidence is sky high at the moment but he has got to remember even though he is a talented boxer you can't train or put muscles on your chin and paulie malignaggi was never gonna test that so he shouldn't count his chickens just yet if beats maidana then he is legit but for now he is just all hype until he fights a big puncher again

You have a good point there. Khan talks about fighting Mayweather and Pacman when he hasn't done anything yet. He is getting too far ahead of himself in my opinion. Beating a feather fisted fighter like Malignaggi means nothing, just a name. Alexander, Bradley and Ortiz all beat him right now. He needs to calm down and so do his fans. He would be heading for another fall if he fought the top guys at 140, but GBP and Roach are not as deluded as Khan so they will manage him with soft fighters. And that is what will happen.
