Ive been following Bertos career every since his 5 or 6 fight and this guy has a chance for a great future and continuation of his upcoming career. He should probably take at least one more fight before considering any of the 3 fighters he named. His last fight he showed a little rust and appeared stiff at times. However if he feels up to it the only fight that makes since would me Mosley. It would a good test for both fighters. For Berto it would be a gauge on how he has developed as a fighter and if hes ready for boxings elite. For Mosley it would be a test to see if he still has what it takes to be listed as a lb for lb great or if its time to hang up the gloves. Good luck to him in his future!

Berto is a beast but he should not be talking about fighting these three fighters. Berto's defense is too bad to fight all three of them. I could see shane knocking him out early because he eats big shots and his chin cant take shane's power punches. I see pacquiao getting a late knockout or tko from a lot of punishment like the cotto fight. And career wise I think his worse fight would be against mayweather, he will make him look like an amateur. I see mayweather getting a late tko or more likely a wide UD.

Shane will stand and brawl and we already know how suspect berto's chin is versus shane's chin. His best chance is versus pacquiao but it is maybe a one percent chance because pac doesnt have one punch knockout power but his defense is to block your hand with his face and pac will beat him up. Mayweather will just be mayweather methodically break him down and embarrass him.

I like this idea, and makes more sense then trying to get a fight back together with Mosley.

i felt collazo was robbed... urango & quintana were solid wins, but didnt amaze me the way he used to... berto needs to step to a cintron caliber fighter first. LOL. also, it would be cool to see him drop to 140 and mix it up with all the prospects (although he is a THICK WW, he might not be able to drop).

i think the current top WW are too much for him...
          ^^^^^Completely agree with this^^^^^

berto can fight margo...but i think he'd lose that one...clottey or p.will is most likely his next move...after that...try and fight shane...

I rate Berto. He deserves a big fight. If Shane wants to come back, that'd be a decent gauge of where he's at. But I think Shane's probably done. Physically he didn't look all there against Floyd, he tired early and he looked like an old fighter even in the early rounds (except for 2, and even then he just timed 2 big right hands; for the rest of the rounds he didn't exactly explode and look like his younger self).. Berto v Paul Williams would be cool.

Berto would be pounded to death by Manny and pecked to near death by Maywhiner . He has no defense , and he's not a great puncher , fight SS let's see what's he really got left . Paul williams , his only chance would be to rush him and maybe a lucky knock out . most likely williams would just lay outside and peck him to death much like floyd .

He's the only legit option for either of those 3 fighters, so I agree with him on that part.
