i will be the first to say i respect andre's berto's dedication to his craft and his confidence---he's a class act---very classy dude---and all the hate he's getting here, is uncalled for-----i don't feel he'll beat mayweather or manny either, and i give him a better shot at beating manny than floyd of course, but he has the right to have this confidence----in order to become a legend, you have to want to fight the best, and the very best iS mayweather and pacquiao right now----shane is also still in the running---he has the belt still-----so, for andre to want these fights, he has to have that confidence and he does----there's nothing wrong with this at all----he is a really good fighter and very rugged----he would lose to mayweather and manny, may beat shane though, but he would lose to the best of the best in floyd and manito----but for him to want those fights to prove he can beat them or hang in there with them is honorable and something you people criticize floyd for, yet, when berto says he wants to do it, you bash him for it also---so what the hell will make you little crybabies happy here---

If Paul Williams can make 147 like he says he can, then he should fight Berto in August. If he beats Berto then that would give him a belt and shut everybody up about him being able to make the weight and calling out the top welterweights. And if Berto beats Paul then that would make him a more attractive opponet for the big names.

Why would he call out fighters one division below him not to mention he's the WBC WW champ(147lbs) not the WBC JWW champ(140). He already fought Urango who is a career 140lb'er and got alot of flack for that. So tell me why would he call out champions from a division BELOW him? Is that acceptable behavior for a Champ who has not unified his division or has not claimed lineage?

I would love to see him fight Abragu(I think I spelled his name right)because I think he will put Berto's heart to the test.IMO He is not ready for Mosley or May or Pac.Marga's beat's him IMO and Clottey most likely beat's his self.How do you see a fight with Abragu playing out?

he should fight collazo again, that fight was very close. but out of those 3 , he will maybe have a shot vs mosley, even though i think shane will knock him out, and hes definetly not ready for floyd.

he did take the fight vs shane, but the earthquake in haiti killed 7 of his family members, its understandable why he pulled out, you cant focus when you lose 7 loved ones in a matter of seconds. and the options are not out the window, shane just lost to floyd, he would consider berto for a chance to climb back into the top spot at 147.
