I always secretly liked Valero but hated his commie ways. Then I said **** it, life's too short after he beat DeMarco.

And its not urban legend, Jreck tells no lies, and the youtube vid of him and Morales is probably still up somewhere.

      Crackbaby.

      look here jasper burton,

how does a youtube vid of him sparring morales confirm him sparring pac & getting the better of pac?

good explanation & LOL on the late valero love.

I don't know how good Valero could of been, but he had the "it" factor IMO. Whether you thought he was amazing or over hyped you had to watch.

He also was the kind of fighter who could lose and you would still want to see him fight again. He def had an old school way about him while in the ring. He reminded me of so many throwbacks. There was no boxing pretty with him, he wanted to hurt his opponents. I really had the feeling after Demarco he had much more skills than most people thought.

Demarco was no walk through, and he made that look way easier than it should have.

If you question Maidana,Bradley,Alexander and Khan's resume-it is double-standards that you are bringing into this-because Valero never moved up,we have no idea how he would perform against a higher weight class,if he would keep his abilities, and his resume is littered with far worst opponents than the likes of the four that you have mentioned.....
You want me to break it down?

Maidana-Valero: Starts as a slugfest. Maidana is on the small side. Valero has more power than Maidana, period. It would end with Maidana getting ktfo.

Valero-Bradley: Bradley isn't special in my eyes. I don't know why people hype him up. Valero would be swinging for the fences all night. Do you think Bradley is going to be able to get in his comfort zone and go to the inside? Nope. It's either Valero by KO if he can carry the weight well, Valero by UD if he can't, or Bradley by split.

Khan-Valero: Khan has the speed and reach advantage, even then if you can take his punch you can get in and hit him easily. He stops using his legs as the night goes on. Khan punches with his guard hand down and has his chin poking out. Valero, a loop hook puncher, and southpaw would connect once while Khan goes for the right straight and Khan is ktfo.

Alexander-Valero: The only one I can legitimately see Valero losing. Alexander is big, is mobile, can box smart, can counter punch. He can beat Valero, Valero is pretty wild but unlike Khan, Alexander doesn't drop his hands and can take a punch. I see Alexander beating Valero on this one but UD or Split.

I can only go by the styles and that is what I see with the styles. If Valero could have moved up and carried the weight well. (Pacquiao was even smaller than Valero and he carries the weight extremely well.) Who knows what Valero could have done because he was big and a big puncher. Not tall but wide and solid like a truck. There was no telling what he could have done and I was supporting him hard before the Caveman Crew came around.

There was also a rumor of him giving ODLH a black eye during Oscar's training camp for Pacquiao and he was sent home because of it.

It wasn't a rumor at all. Valero as a 130lber beat the **** out Oscar for about 8 rounds and was sent home. Oscar's strength and conditioning coach went into detail about it shortly after the Pacquiao beating and said it was a mirror image of what happened in the real fight.

He would've had some great fights if he'd gone in against the top guys, but remember: he was an Arum fighter. That means he would've been kept away from the likes of Maidana, Bradley, Alexander etc. and then put in with Pacquiao. Arum already messed around Bradley's people, he probably would've done the same with anyone else he thought was a legit threat.

Valero would've fought any of them, but Arum? Nah...
