Maidana-Valero: Starts as a slugfest. Maidana is on the small side. Valero has more power than Maidana, period. It would end with Maidana getting ktfo.

Valero-Bradley: Bradley isn't special in my eyes. I don't know why people hype him up. Valero would be swinging for the fences all night. Do you think Bradley is going to be able to get in his comfort zone and go to the inside? Nope. It's either Valero by KO if he can carry the weight well, Valero by UD if he can't, or Bradley by split.

Khan-Valero: Khan has the speed and reach advantage, even then if you can take his punch you can get in and hit him easily. He stops using his legs as the night goes on. Khan punches with his guard hand down and has his chin poking out. Valero, a loop hook puncher, and southpaw would connect once while Khan goes for the right straight and Khan is ktfo.

Alexander-Valero: The only one I can legitimately see Valero losing. Alexander is big, is mobile, can box smart, can counter punch. He can beat Valero, Valero is pretty wild but unlike Khan, Alexander doesn't drop his hands and can take a punch. I see Alexander beating Valero on this one but UD or Split.

I can only go by the styles and that is what I see with the styles. If Valero could have moved up and carried the weight well. (Pacquiao was even smaller than Valero and he carries the weight extremely well.) Who knows what Valero could have done because he was big and a big puncher. Not tall but wide and solid like a truck. There was no telling what he could have done and I was supporting him hard before the Caveman Crew came around.
That is what I'm saying though-all of what he could have accomplished are assumptions...sure,Pac has moved up in weight and had success (but there is other reasons to this-it's another subject),but not everyone moves up and has this success-let alone against the best in the division.

As for "crews" and that sort-I avoid bandwagons-they cloud judgement.I love the sport,I don't follow a fighter and adopt fan type behaviour.I call things as I see them. I have been accused of being ****** names like "*****",etc because I call things as I see them.In reality I don't have any attatchments to fighters and make predictions from the perspective of if I was placing money on them.Predictions based on "what ifs,crossed-fingers,etc" are innacurate,I myself don't stick to that mindset.

Yeah, problem for people who suck at counter-punching or fighters who were overrated on their counter-punching abilities when a fighter lunges in with their head like Valero did.

He used Morales for target practice and nearly decapitated Antillon with a right hook. Bigger tough guys like Juan Lazcano & Jesus Soto-Karauss were destroyed so badly they never came back to the gym.

The man clearly belonged with the likes of Pacquiao & Mayweather in terms of pure talent. No one at 135 or 140 would have so much as troubled Valero.
