Classy way to bow out....he was a B- level fighter that got pretty good exposure. He probably wont be missed by too many. And I wont be surprised if thats not his last fight.

He won't retire. If he can keep getting checks he'll be back. He even said it after the first Juan Diaz fight that he only fights for money. Next time a fights gets tough for him I can see him quitting. He won't take another beating like he got on saturday.

one of Paulie's idols was the late great Arturo Gatti....if Paulie had some pop he would've no doubt been in some LEGENDARY Gatti type wars and peeps would've said "he reminds me of Gatti"......that would be noticeable at first sight....but he doesn't have the pop to change fights in a drop of a dime so to see the "Gatti" in Paulie you'll have to look deeper because its not noticeable at first sight.....Paulie is a BRAVE warrior with ALOT of "Gatti" in his DNA....he's cut from that cloth!!...nuff respect to the Magic Man!!

Good to know hes got friends. But its nice he is complimentary about Khan now, and no mention of roids.
Maybe he sould retire. There are better boxers than him out there. So depending on what he wants to achieve in boxing will guide him to his ultimate decision

i respect paulie and hes still a very good fighter regardless of what khan did.. khan is special which is why that happened but i guarantee that paulie can still beat nearly all of the top ten light welters including maidana. if he retires then fair enough but hes no way washed up and is still a world class test for anyone. keep your chin up paulie.
