Paulie had a decent career. He earned a few dollars.

Paulie is no hall of famer but one thing he does bring to the the table is that he did lace them up and he has charisma.

So he would be a good fit a a commentator. HBO should hire him just for that and so he can tell Larry Merchant to STFU.

          Good Luck Paulie!

Paulie is a good fighter, he was just bested by a better fighter. Paulie always spoke his mind like a true New Yorker, and I give him all the respect in the world as he was a guy who talked a lot of **** but always came to fight! He is Way too talented to retire at 29 and can make some money fighting other fighters. It would be foolish to retire now....If i were him, I would fight 4 more times and then retire with some loot to really retire on. I sat next to Paulie years back at Atlantic city and we chatted throughout the fight. He was very cool and called the Francisco Bojado vs fight against Jess James Leija right on the money! Hey Paulie you could make an excellent analyst!!! But give us some more fights first!

Damn, i know Amir said he'd retire Paulie but i didn't really think that would happen.

The top 3 at 140 are out of his reach but he'd have a chance at beating the rest. Much respect to him, he's got a big mouth but he's one tough fella.

Wow, these fighters have you guys eating out of their hand like THAT. Paulie gives a sad little "retirement" speech and suddenly he gets mad respect from you guys?

The man talks **** and NEVER backed it up in the ring. You people DERIDE Mayweather for talking **** and dominating everybody who faces him, yet you have respect for a guy like Malignaggi who never once delivered on his word in the ring?

Boxing fans are some of the sorriest sports fans you'll ever meet.

                    Are you kidding?

Paulie doesn't have any fire power, but every time he fought he left everything in the ring. And you're acting like this is out of character for Paulie. Paulie always talks **** leading up to a fight and is always all class after. Maybe you just haven't been paying attention.

This has zero to do with Floyd.
