Floyd will only fight inside when there clinched..other than that its jab n str8 rights..and if the straight misses its left hook to the body..if floyd doesnt respect pac power then he will fight in the pocket a little more but hes not going to play rick hatton

Floyd dominated Ricky Hatton fighting on the inside. He chose to fight Hatton there and beat him because he was meaner and threw elbows and forearms that frustrated Ricky. I can't even recollect the last time Manny fought a real infight.Last edited by SkillspayBills; 05-18-2010, 05:48 PM.

Floyd would beat Pac on the inside, he'd hold that elbow to the neck and rip the loose had to hand to the body and chest. Pac is a one dimensional fighter who throws punches in bunches. Plus he only knows how to fight a strict gameplan, he can't think without one. I've never seen him adjust.

It is improved a lot, but it is not very relevant for the Hatton fight IMO. What matters is Pac's inside game. With Hatton's fast feet it is not a matter of IF the fight will get dirty and up close, it's a matter of HOW MUCH of it is going to be dirty and up close.
Mayweather is the best fighter I remember at keeping the fight where he wants (not the best, before people jump up, but the best at this) and he *had to* fight Hatton at close quarters too. A lot. He won the fight because his game (defense included) was excellent on the inside too. He boxed him, tired the hell out of him on the inside with some vicious bodyshots punctuating everything with an occasional hard right lead or left hook, and only then started throwing combos.
I have never seen pac fight on the inside, I am sure Freddie will work on that, but I am not sure how much can be done on someone who never fought much on the inside. Pac is a fast learner though. Pac will also have problems because we have seen Hatton manhandle everyone at 140 while clinching.
This fight will be interesting, Pac cannot fight "negative" like Mayweather, so we will see Hatton throwing many punches.
EDIT: obviously Pac causes Hatton a huge number of problems too, but this thread is about the other way round so I focused on that for now

Hatton was the best at 140 right???? What Happenned when he tried one weight class up against Collazo??? Got schooled... almost Koed by a B fighter & He don't ask for a rematch.
Pac was considered a beast at 122. He moved up against the best 126 lbs fighter & HOF MAB in his 1st try at 126. He Dominates. JMM Chickened out on the rematch so he takes the best 130 pounder available in HOFamer Morales. He lost but take the rematch right away & Proven he can Dominate.
There's a very few fighters who can move up in weight & still dominate. One of them is Pacquiao. In the past there's SRR & Armstrong. Today we have Pacquiao. Just enjoy him writing history before your eyes.
Who's better???
You gargled some cum and you were right.
EDIT: I notice that I gave my thoughts, and did not make a prediction, so I was not "wrong". You gargled some cum and did not give a prediction, so you were not even "right".Last edited by wmute; 05-18-2010, 07:22 PM.

Whether you're in long range or close range, the name of the game is, "you can't be too far off and end up missing the target, and you can't be too close where you smother your own punches"
