So what, give this guy a break; his confidence has been ruined by the beating he took from the most skilled guy in the game. There is nothing worse for a boxer than being schooled by a better boxer. He earned the right to duck Khan since he fought Manny, Floyd, Barrera and other top boxers.

        Got it.
You still dont understand the concept of styles making fights. I would have picked Khan to win if JMM had taken the fight and he never fought Paulie. Its got nothing to do with Paulie or how great JMM is. Its about the STYLES of the two fighters.

        Get it?

With the reach, size, and speed advantages. Khan would have to be the favourite.

Marquez is still a master counter-puncher but Khan would have to give him something to counter. If he is fighting from the outside, avoiding any exchanges it would be hard for Marquez. What's more, Marquez has excellent powers of recovery but I think Khan would be able to hurt him.

That said, as is a given when discussing Khan. Marquez landed a pretty heavy shot on Mayweather that just bounced off PBF because he has a great chin - that same shot wouldn't bounce of Khan.

Khan's still a bit open too. Paulie had opportunities but he was too one handed and gun shy. If Marquez could take Khan's punch he'd win by KO.

He knew it was too big a risk for too little reward, so did his trainer.

I guess everyone is a business man nowadays.

So winner of the HBO 140 tourney gets a shot at JMM or what?

I think all 4 would beat JMM, TBH

Khan looked huge next to Paulie. The minute I saw the size difference, with two speedy boxers I knew Paulie was done. Fight a bigger, more powerful version of yourself. It's not going to be easy at all, losing is almost a certainty.

JMM is a tiny guy, tough as nails, but still a smaller fighter. Khan looked to me like he could go up two divisions.
