To say Marquez is afraid of a Con, is rediculous. No point in conversing with someone who says Juan Manuel Marquez of all people is afraid of fighting another boxer.
Hes not afraid. Amir would have been too big a risk for not enough reward coming off such a bad loss to Mayweather.

JMM outboxed Pacquiao at featherweight and that was a few years ago now. But Khan doesnt really fight like that version of Pac who was still a little wreckless. Hes more measured and wont rush into counters. He'd be too fast for JMM from the outside and control him with the jab.
I'm not 100% but I believe the fight was at lighweight.

If you truly believe that JMM would lose to Amir Khan by UD, SD or KO, then you sign away any credibility.

Furthermore, if you are comparing Khan to Floyd, then you should be banned. I'm not trying to be a **** dude but what you are saying is extremely ridiculous.

So you are going to pick Khan in fantasy fights because he schooled a well known bum? Paulie isn't good - he's a C class fighter. He's the biggest overachiever of this decade. He's never won a big fight - he has no power - he makes poor use of the hitman style (having no power), and doesn't have the best Stamina.

He couldn't even keep his arms up when the ref called the fight with Khan - he actually kept throwing for another 2 seconds after the ref called it.

Paulie just isn't a good boxer. Because Khan destroyed him doesn't put him on JMM's level. Hell, I can't think of a more B rated fighter than Ricky Hatton, but IMO, Khan is a fight that Hatton could actually win.

I thought Marquez did the right thing by not taking the fight with Khan earlier. However, after Saturday, I think it is a winnable fight for Marquez. I don't think Amir Khan is a big hitter at 140 and I also noticed that he throws his punches awkwardly. If not Marquez, Maidana will take care of Khan at 140.

It was another disrespectful fight for the sport.

Khan needs to worry about the serious Jr Welters, not MAB's, Erik Morales', or Marquez's, who are former 130lbers

Plus Barrera rocked Khan twice in that fight, that wasn't a good sign for Khan

Amir would slip right into JMM's style and make for a good, but one sided fight.

I truly believe Amir would look hopeless and lost - much the same as Mosley did when he fought Mayweather (Save the "gassed out" excuses guys).

            so there's no basis?

I agree, but I'm still up in the air about Khan/Maidana.

A fight with Maidana will be a make him or break him fight for Khan. Khan's reputation, to me, will be based on how that fight goes down. If he beats Maidana, he will have proved himself to me as a top 140 contender.

Then he can beat up Victor Ortiz and move up to 147.

I'm excited for Khans career, I really like him.

Can you show me how you scored the fight? Did you even watch it? Or are you just looking it up?

A lot of fights are toss ups - they could have gone either way and it's understandable how a decision could go one way and there really isn't much you can argue.

The last fight between JMM and Pacquiao is a clear example of robbery in boxing. No question, without a doubt, JMM was the clear winner of that fight yet he was robbed in front of tens of thousands of fans and the hundreds of thousands watching at home.

i had the first fight even..

2nd fight, i had it 1pt for pac. rounds are too close to call.. the kd makes the difference.

it was not a clear robbery as you have stated.. stop spewing nonsense. the fight could go either way and as a boxing fan, i can live with it whoever wins..

the history books says pac won 1 and drew 1..
jmm loss 1 drew 1.. that's the fact and stop twisting it..
