(1) Hopkins is one of the dirtiest fighters ever , probably the GOAT , bot just a lock top 3 ATG in this aspect , I give you that.
Judges are both manipulated by Hopkins' genius ways of fouling and are
afraid of his public influence and connections and GBP and whatever
promoter he had before it , if they DQd him and deducted points from him
like they should have , they would have both Hopkins' promoters and
probably the Islamic community in the USA (people like -D33PWaters- a.k.a
MmuhammadM ) against them and will lose refereeing positions in future
mega fights.
(2) Hopkins fought either : smaller men
(Simon Brown , Delahoya , Trinidad , Wright , Pavlik)
(3) Tarver was extremely drained and weakened by the need to weigh in below 175 , after he was 220 for the Rocky Balboa movie.

These are the reasons why he won in the times he did , but :

(4) He did lose to a nobody in his first fight (which was also held at 175) ,
he did lose twice to Jermain Taylor , actually Taylor should have even won
by a larger margin in both fights due to Hopkins' dirty style if Hopkins was
deducted points like he should have. Hopkins rushed to butt Wright right
from the start and the cut he caused him by that action helped him to
capitalize on Wright's survival mode , however , Wright still was competitive
against him despite it.
