Floyd Mayweather “I’m not interested in Pacquiao’s title”

Obviously Floyd is no intellectual giant but I can't find a smarter fighter. And I don't believe he said all of what he said in this article...like that!Comment

No I cannot. With all due respect - and I've never seen you asking for links like most of these clowns - I'm tired of doing research when info like can be found with a little moxie and some want. Anything can be verified. It's as simple as the buttons you're using right now.Comment

I'll never forget the day when the news broke regarding the drug testing and Pacquiao's weird stance. I seriously expected to log and see thread after thread taking this guy to task (don't laugh). Well I got one part of the equation right. To this day, I'm still in shock over how people are willfully blinding themselves. But right is right and as long as common sense still exists, it's not hard to debate those who argue without it.Comment

Manny said he felt it was down to blood taken a few days or day (can't remember) to the reason he lost the fight to Morales, whether this physiological (most likely) or physical.
You do not think this will play into their negotiating for the fight?Last edited by Slick_Rick; 05-17-2010, 09:48 PM.Comment

Manny made that statement in 2005 and it wasn't uploaded on youtube until well after negotiations started. And more recently, he reaffirmed his stance by stating that he was fine as long as it wasn't the day of the fight. Again, even if this was the case, Floyd would've had to have known in advance that a few days/one day really means 24/30.Comment

Its not just nsb either. Sports media in general has been a bit irresponsible with the whole thing. I love when people make the case that better testing would be a negative thing. Its amazing and disheartening at the same time.I'll never forget the day when the news broke regarding the drug testing and Pacquiao's weird stance. Yes, this is grade school. If you still did'nt get it, let me explain to you. The reason why Pacman is asking for huge penalty for not making the weight is: Floyd showed up over the contracted weight against Marquez. Meaning, Pacman's camp have valid reason to ask for huge, or you may call it unreasonable penalty because Floyd did came over the contracted wieght limit against Marquez.
Now, when did Pacman been proven to take PEDs? That is what the poster is trying to explain. If you still don't understand, PM me...
whilst i agree with your logic (to a degree) the fact that Manny turned down OST the first time around with a series of laughable excuses and reasons......isn't that now enough to justify Floyd wanting OST the second go around using the same logic you have applied to the weight penalty and JMM situation??Comment
