The reason why Pacman is asking for huge penalty for not making the weight is: Floyd showed up over the contracted weight against Marquez. Meaning, Pacman's camp have valid reason to ask for huge, or you may call it unreasonable penalty because Floyd did came over the contracted wieght limit against Marquez.

I don't look at it as a fighter getting his own way any more than I look at it as Manny getting his own way for asking for a $10m penalty that has never been done in ANY fight. I just see one fighter asking for tougher tests and I applaud him. Do I think his motives are selfish? Absolutely. But sometimes the right message comes from the wrong guy. And the message is one every fan should get behind. You know, I don't see a lot of people talking about PEDs and whether they are healthy; right or wrong, etc. But I do see people doing their homework now and that's a great thing. I've been studying steroids and its effects for nearly four years. So when a top athlete asks for more stringent tests, I'm all for it. And when another athlete is ducking them, I must question his motives. It's not an issue of Floyd or Manny getting their way at all. And I think it's time people stopped looking at it like that.
