Cotto didn't the box the **** out of anyone. You wanna see something get the **** boxed out of them? Watch Floyd-JMM and Floyd-SSM. Now those are demoralizing beatdowns.

its another one of those hollow ***** excuse for *****s to discredit pac.

Pac ducked mosley so he can make more money & destroy the guy that beat shane.

Maybe you can answer then. Why did Team Pac choose CLOTTEY over MOSLEY? Especially when Mosley came to Roach's gym to beg for a fight against Manny and even agreed to come in at 142 since Roach was acting so damn scared to fight at 147.

        The OBVIOUS fight was MOSLEY-PACQUIAO.

        Instead Pac chose Cotto. LOL!

        QUACK! QUACK!
Not to mention PAC didn't want the SSM fight, not even with a BS catchweight at 140-142 lbs!...LOL

I'm sick of people talking this nonsense. It's very ignorant. Nowadays if a fighter loses a bruising fight he is just dismissed as 'not being the same as he was'. It's total BS. Why do people say that? Because he had a tough time with Clottey? Reality check, he would ALWAYS have had a difficult time with Clottey, who is a big welterweight and very solid defensively. Cotto peformed well against Pacquiao, boxing competently and smartly for about 4, 5 rounds before being caught in a total whirlwind. Let's see how he looks next, because Pacquiao gave him a bad beating and that could affect him psychologically but IMO he rebounded well from the Margarito loss and all this talk of him being washed up etc is utterly ignorant

because clottey is with top rank & pac & arum wouldnt have to give clottey a higher % of the money. you keep quoting roach for truth when all you *****s think he's a pathological liar. roach said 142? sure, that was his opinion.

ITS A MOOT POINT. they never fought. it was never used for negotiations. it was never used in a fight. you cant use that against pacquiao. roach doesnt make decisions like that. he's just a trainer. pac & arum ultimately make decisions.

why are you *****s so hung up on this? the shane that showed up against floyd would have been murked by manny.

its quite obvious. the guy was 39, 1 year & 5months removed from his last fight & it showed vs floyd when he was gassed by the 4th round.

even emmanual steward pointed out that cotto didn't look like his old self on the telecast of cotto-clottey.

margarito gave cotto a tito trinidad career ending type of beating.

Theres a reason why Pac fought Cotto and not Mosley its very simple Cotto brought more money and was the easiar fight,Roach even stated this talking about how Cotto was not the same fighter after Margarito..

Roach wanted Mosley at 142 and he said no,Mosley then changed his mind and Roach went after Cotto..Ill give him credit cuz he did ask to fight Mosley though

He was coming back from a bad beating and psychologically was probably out-of-sort in his fight with Clottey, but physically I don't think he's lost anything. That fight went as I expected; I dont think the Clottey fight woulda been different if it had occured pre-Margarito. I guess we'll agree to disagree

again, why didn't pac-mosley happen right after the cotto fight? where did clottey come from and how did he earn a shot?
