Brian Kenny saying Floyd was ducking Hatton and Baldomir

The same Brian Kenny who said Floyd was ducking Mosley

Because if it is all I got to say is...
not necessarily, but it points out that alot floyd haters /critics were saying that baldomir is a challenge that floyd needed to take to prove how tuff he is. But because floyd beat him so easily and convincingly, all of a sudden they did a 180 on their previous statements. I can gaurantee that the same thing would have happened had he fought margocheato.

And thats fine but don't make it out to be some huge name on his resume. Baldomir was just a Modern day Jimmy Braddock. He was a cinderella story, a feel good story for those boxing fans who cheer for the underdog. But a serious challanger? I think not! A top tier welter? I think not! I understand why Floyd fought him but who shouldn't be given very much credit either.

You really think the HBO commentators and HBO themselves are gonna say anything diffrent "before" the fight?

Come on now they got a fight to sell so of course they are gonna get all these analysts saying how much of a threat baldo was even though we all knew he wasn't.

Sure I think Floyd would have boxed margaritos ears off but the diffrence is Margarito is way more talanted and had an actual body of work at welterweight. Thats fight would have silenced a lot of critics.

Again, who were all these people? The majority of the boxing community knew it was a wash for Mayweather.

I never said Baldomir was this great fighter but the truth is that he was the Undisputed Welterweight champion at the time and Floyd beat him. He deserves credit for the win because he won every round against a guy who was ranked #1. Whether you rated him or not

You had guys like bryan kenny who don't even work for HBO spitting the same stuff man . C'mon son. Now I agree that the HBO staff just say whatever to get a fight sold. But you got these casual fans and dumb fans like pac fans who just take what these guys say and run with it. They don't make decisions for themselves. I never thought baldo was a threat to be honest, but its funny how pbf can beat these guys so convincingly and have these commentators contradicting themselves so quickly.

Like I said he was #1 becasue of smore miricle run and not becasue he was a dominent champion. Even you can understand that Baldo isn't even one of Floyds top 10 wins. Was it a big championship fight? Yes! But was Baldo anywhere near Floyds class? No!

Jesus people don't exactly call Joe Louis win over Jimmy Braddock one of Joe's biggest wins now do they?
