I agree, Baldomir was a very aukward strong fighter. It's funny that people look down on him but he was the Undisputed Welterweight champion at the time, Nobody had beaten him in 9 years and Floyd did it with relative ease. So I think he deserves more credit for that win than he gets. People look down on Baldomir

But thats to do with the politics of boxing. People look at how many losses the guy has and assume he is a poor fighter. He wasnt an elite fighter, I would say he is simular to Glen Johnson in that he struggled early on in his career but worked hard and fine tuned his skills to the point of becoming undisputed champion.

I wonder why HBO keeps taking it down????? Hmmmm is it because they built Baldomir to be some huge iron chinned welterweight that was actually going to test Floyd???? First they are talking about you couldn't knock out Baldomir with a sledgehammer, then when Floyd easily schools him while outweighed 20+ lbs that night, I vividly remember all the commentators criticizing Floyd for not getting Baldomir out of there.
