in this fight they probably earn 40million each or more
300k per pound is like a $300 bucks for u if u make that much money
which is u wont mind to pay penalty and cheat the weigh in just to insure ur at an advantage and win the fight right?

manny doesnt want it too close to the fight coz he had past experience where he got randomly blood tested 2 days before the fight with morales which he felt weakened by it and lost... and the test result is NEGATIVE!

And Pac wasn't weak from the blood test in the Morales fight, if he was weak it was from making weight.
Funny how he had 2 chances to mention this blood test making him weak, in 2 post fight interviews he never mentioned it. He blamed the gloves and a butt, no blood test.

Sherlock weight penalties and catchweight's been around since before you were born!!And it within the commision or rule of the boxing governing body.They negotiate the contracts within the rule.

Why Catch weight?.
If one of the fighter is bigger and want to fight on certain division..ie lower that his natural weight.They will negotiate a catch weight so that the weight differece between the fighters are not too far off.

As you know that some welterweight will weigh in at 147 exactly and come fight night will weight 5 or more pounds over the limit of welterweight.Therefore a catchweight is necessary to some,that the difference may not be too much.
