timba1988, I used to box and yes learning new skills is very similar between skill base sports. I was an amateur boxer before I was a golfer. How do I know Roach is not addressing it ? Very simple when Khan is pressured and pushed back he does not know what to do. Why? because he has not been trained what to do. If this is not sorted out and it takes ages to incubate infighting skills ,it is not like learning a new shot he will get found out in that area mark my words. This is not something the old cliche about game plans can fix. Only idiots believe that garbage. If you have a great game plan without the skills to back it up you are going nowhere. That is living in reality in the real world.BTW Sparring hones the skills but the skills have to be there in the first place. Sparring alone won't cut it.
When will you get into your head, that Khan is not a fully fleshed out fighter like bernard hopkins or floyd mayweather.
The REALITY is that the kid is 23 years old and is still developing.
How is Roach not addressing Khan's weaknesses? You can't address a poor chin. Thus you tighten and improve his defence...something Roach has done a remarkable job on. And his infighing skills aren't woeful because he has never been forced to fight on the inside apart from the Gomez fight, where he was still very green. Plus he gave as good as he got. I'm pretty sure once a fight with an inside fighter is made, Roach will work his gameplan, and put Khan in sparring with good inside fighters in preperation.
And golf has nothing in common with boxing...nothing.

He is a world champion ,not a prospect . He can only be spoon fed for so long and if he does not develop in fighting skills soon he will get found out. BTW Floyd's skills were all in there and developed at 23.
The only thing Amir Khan proved is that he can beat C class fighters with relative ease. Paulie Malinaggi is not a "player" in the 140 pound weight division. He's a tough lil dude with no punching power and terrible boxing technique.
Paulie keeps his hands low but doesn't move his head. That's two fundamental mistakes right there. Unlike Roy Jones and Muhammed Ali, Paulie does not have the lightning fast speed and punching power to erase his mistakes.
Paulie gets hit and can't return fire power, so instead he sticks his tongue out and hotdogs. LOL!
Any credible Jr. Welterweight dominates Paulie Malinaggi in similar or even worse fashion. When I say credible I'm talking Bradley, Alexander, Hatton (already whooped Paulie's ass), Peterson, Zab, etc...
Can Amir Khan beat a B level talent? I don't know. Lets put him in with one (maidana/ortiz) and find out. If he can beat a B level fighter than I'll starting getting hyped about Amir Khan.
naz should have gotten a trainer like roach or someone
he could have come back ... he had phenomenal reflexes
but lacked the basics to beat a well rounded fighter like barrera

No he is NOT. He is a WORLD TITLELIST. Khan will earn world champion status if he beats maidana.
Floyd was developed further because he learnt more about inside fighting after being school bullied by castillo.
