Hopkins on Khan - "Ive never seen anything like this"

Bernard Hopkins, still boxing while working as a director of Golden Boy, Khan's, US promoters, said: 'I've never seen anything like this - a 23-year-old boy coming to America and turning on the speed, power and movement of the complete professional in his first fight over here. Incredible.'

Even Malignagi's promoter, Lou DiBella, raved: 'Your boy is great. So quick, so much power, such charisma. As a fan I would pay to watch him every time he comes to fight over here and I'm sure the same is true of every American who saw this live or on television. He's a star.'

Lou DiBella in another interview said "That kid just answered all the questions I had about him"

That may be but he just needs to prove himself against a puncher. That's probably the only gripe on him. Oh, that and I realized that when he punches in bunches he tippy toes and his legs come really close sometimes as he is leaning in. I would assume one would need to parry his first shot, slip the next one and then counter him. Easier said than done though. He's good he just needs to step his game up against bigger punchers

Of course Hopkins is gonna give him props. He's a Golden Boy fighter. But Khan did a great job against Paulie gotta give him props for that. I'll be a believer when he starts fighting punchers.

There's no doubt the other star here is Roach.

He's turning another no-name into a boxing superstar.

Well, Khan might as well take over after Pac/Floyd retires.
