If we are gonna do brackets then Maidana should rematch Kotelnik considering he lost to him.

      Then Khan can fight Prescott.

They avenge their losses and clear their names.

But I don't like the marinating. There are two many good fights in this division for guys to make their names on.

Why can't Alexander fight Ortiz? That's a good fight. Kotelnik is a good fighter but Khan dominated him. I don't think Alexander can prove much more than that, seeing as even Maidana couldn't even knock Kotelnik out. And Prescott isn't a great fight either. The only value Khan has facing him in his next fight is for revenge purposes. There's no value in a Alexander - Prescott fight.

Facing Ortiz is the best scenario. But Kotelnik is still a good fighter and a legitimate match-up. Prescott shouldn't even be considered.

I don't know, but I get the sense that the reason why Bradley is avoiding Alexander is because he hasn't fought on HBO yet. I guess I can understand why he's turning down Alexander if I put myself in his shoes. He probably feels like he needs to get his feet wet with the HBO audience which is understandable I suppose. But this is what I don't understand. Why don't they have Bradley and Alexander fight one opponent each on the same exact card? It might mean less money for each of them in the short term. But it will make their potential fight a lot bigger.

I think it's because they called out Bradley to no avail.

And Shaw and Bradley have an open HBO date.

yes bradley wont fight him but hbo needs to force it or make khan vs alexander. its a waste of time matching him up with 2 guys that have been beaten recently. hbo has momentum now with this 140 tourney, making alexander vs prescott or kotelnik only stalls things.

Yeah, but Khan won't fight Alexander either. And Maidana is injured. This is why I wish JMM would've gotten involved in the division because he's not shot I don't think like some people are making him out to be.

Lol, Kevin Mitchell schooled Prescott last year and Miguel Vazquez beat him as well.... It would be WEAK of Alexander to fight Prescott.

That is EXACTLY what I said. He congratulated Ortiz and Khan but never mentioned Ortiz again. They can make that happen, that would be one hell of a bout.
