Comments Thread For: Team Alexander Target Breidis Prescott, Andreas Kotelnik

IBF/WBC junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander's manager and trainer Kevin Cunningham called BoxingScene.com to offer congratulations to WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan and to junior welterweight contender Victor Ortiz for their near flawless performances Saturday night. "Amir Khan looked great. That was a very impressive performance. Victor Ortiz looked good too. It is too bad neither of their opponents won a single round in either fight." [Click Here To Read More]

      Forget Breidis Prescott.

I wish Bradley-Alexander could be on that July 17th HBO date.

Shaw wanted Maidana for that date so bad for Bradley, I wish he wanted Alexander that bad.

That's classy of them. I think it's smart to let the 140 diivision marinate a Lil bit then unify end of the year or early 2011.

Nah man. Alexander shoudlnt fight Prescott. Mitchell already outboxed him. Devon will get no props at all by taking that fight. The only top 140 lber that should fight Prescott is Amir.

I believe Amir will fight Prescott on July 31st.

I don't get the marinating part. It's not like there aren't 5 or 6 guys in that division who could be bona fide stars.

I say they duke it out.

None of these guys are exactly rockstars and beating a Kotelnik or a Prescott won't make any future fight any sweeter.

I think Cunningham is frustrated they couldn't get Bradley.

                  It should be
                  Khan-Maidan
                  Ortiz-kotelnik

                  in the other bracket
                  Alexander-Presscott
                  Bradley-Lucas Mathysse

Bradley won't fight him. Who should he fight then? I'd like to see a Berto-Alexander fight but Berto has had enough fights with small guys. If Berto wants to move down to 140 to fight them I'm fine with that though.
