It's by far the biggest fight that can be made at Jnr Welterweight right now, with the unification of three titles, and the fact that everyone already knows that they're both head and shoulders better than anyone else in the division; plus it would almost certainly be for The Ring belt as well, because Pac will almost certainly have been forced to give it up by then; and fighting Kotelnik or Prescott would certainly not make it any bigger - if anything it would do the opposite. And the winner would be a big star if they fought right now, as long as it's a good fight. Plus if it's a good fight, they could have a rematch down the line and make a fortune.
When fighters avoid each other in order to "let it simmer", you end up with them never fighting in their primes, like Mosley-Mayweather, which is just ****** and terrible for boxing. Anyone who doesn't want them to fight now, when neither of them seems to be able to find any credible opponents, is not a boxing fan.
