I am, but I've been a Kats supporter longer than I've even heard of Mitchell. Don't get me wrong, though - I had his back for the Prescott fight. My priorities just came first last night.

I even got my pic taken with Steve Bunce (as well as a glove signed by him) and Mark Burdis the announcer, but I'll remain incognito around these parts. :wnk1:

That must have been an interesting atmosphere. 20,000 people at a Jr Welterweight fight, thats impressive.

          It was a lightweight fight.

20k people at a British fight is average anyway.

Well, lightweight. It was a great undercard, though. Lots of stoppages from the seemingly stoppage-happy refs, but otherwise a great atmosphere (just like at Newcastle for Khan-Salita) and a good night for British boxing.

Kevvers will be back, but in the meantime we have plenty of stars to look out for. Billy Joe Saunders had the best fight IMO. He's like a ***** Katsidis at middleweight. :laff2: I even got to say "Good fight!" to Frankie Gavin when he popped over to say hello to some of us.

Sry. All the talk of Khan-Mitchell future fight got me confused with all the two weight classes. That's cool for British fight scene. Where I am a big fight wouldn't draw a 1/3 of that, although we don't have as high profile fighters.

It was a good win for Katsidis and he looked good. I would love to see him move up to 140 and fight Khan in July. It would be a great fight.

It's not that they're that high profile, Mitchell isn't really. It's just that Brits enjoy a good night out.

Beer + Fighting = Great night out.

There seemed to be big a ruck somewhere over at another stand before that silly bint Solomon started to sing, but it died down quickly. I hate those rucks where you have to crane your neck and stand on a seat to see anything, but all you see is an ocean of bobbing heads. :eyeroll:

Hasn't Haye been pulling like 8000 or so? Either way if 20k is the average, you can put that darts>boxing argument away. Boxing is getting stronger now in both Britain and America.
