why is it so hard to give a fighter credit for a good win? there is always going to be a excuse for why one of the fighters lost, its a pointless argument. you claim you are not biased but your claiming mosley wasnt a good win, after many people thought mayweather was afraid of mosley and would never fight him he came out and beat his ass. now mosley is too old but he is still the same mosley that pacquiao refused to fight because freddie roach thought he was too dangerous. didnt pacquiao say mosley was gonna beat mayweather too? mosley is a good win whether you like it or not.

One fought like he was shot, and the other couldn't land a punch after he wobbled the guy... If you couldn't see this, that means you are either blind or a *******...http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/vi...-hoya-compubox
one went on for 9 rounds......the other was for 12.........if delahoya was a zombie....................shane is an old jello man......................this are facts
.........Oscar that fought PAC was way more active than the shane that fought mayweather = factComment

it mystifies me why people that know what they are talking about go back and forth with people who either know crap about boxing or have a clear agenda.who the *** said they were fighting the same style................LOL..........FACT is numbers dont lie..................if Oscar was weight drained...........what does that make sugar shane.......................using your analogy............we cant compare punch outputs to compare fighters then..............dont be mad..........just stating the facts here....................
fact is that numbers don't lie but any idiot that is trying to use them to paint the whole picture does. you, for example.
the rest has mosley's age/ inactivity, true. it also has de la hoya's age, recent performances, the fact that roach was giving his reasons why he took the fight with one of them being that he knew de la hoya was done, etc.
non-fighters try to throw out injuries and ailments after the fact. just more people with an agenda. with all the work that fighters do to get ready for bouts, i doubt any of them come in with all their parts 100%.
mayweather said he came in with two bad hands and a torn rotator cuff for the first castillo fight and people ignore that, despite him easily controlling and outpointing castillo in the second fight.
clearly breaks his hand in the hernandez fight, still gets boo'd because people expected more. breaks his hand in the baldomir fight, still gets criticized for not stopping him.
had extra padding over an injuried rib for the jmm fight and your core is a HUGE component in applying power behind punches. again criticized for not stopping him.
four injuries, four wins.
if you wanted real credibility, to me, you would have put the numbers up from when mayweather fought de la hoya against when pacquiao fought him. that would kill much of the debate, though it would show a slightly younger, fresher de la hoya at his natural weight class, at that time, against an undersized mayweather that couldn't even make it to 154 pounds (came in at 150). the 5'6 pacquiao weighed more than the 5'10 de la hoya on fight night, btw. part of those contract stipulations not often spoke of.Comment

Why do you keep mentioning Mosley's age? Like being 38 is the end of your career in boxing. If we keep it at your level of logic then how do you explain B-Hop beating Tito to a pulp at age 37? Or how Tarver and G. Johnson's career took off when they were in their mid 30's.Comment
