i think maidana will get to khan, khan dont have power and wont be able to keep him off him also i dont think khans footwork is all that good he seems to have no power and he wont ever sit down on his punches just in case something comes back to him!!!!

Amir just showed us more of what Paulie isn't than what he himself is. Maidana should stop him brutally. Amir isn't ready for none of the big boys@140. Paulie hit him but that's just like getting hit by a feather duster. Roach fighters are very arrogant thinking they can dictate. Bradley and Alexander should try to clean up the division then face each other then they could demand big money. Mad props to Bradley for trying to do it.

Everyone is aware of his limitations but a lot more people overlook his qualities, including you. He is far more than just a big puncher. He's an intense pressure fighter who can beat more skilled fighters than himself due to the pressure he puts them under. A bit like Froch, although he has a bigger punch P4P than Froch does, and he's better at cutting off the ring than Froch is.

Yeah, I'm kinda thinking the same thing, but let's hope he gets brave with this win over Paulie. Obviously his match-makers are more than aware of his deficiencies in the whiska's department, but as a champ in a stacked division, he's gonna have to face either Devon, Timmy, or Maidana by the end of the year, so all questions will hopefully be answered by 2011. I think out of those three guys, Maidana is actually the most dangerous. Timmy, and even-more-so Devon, are pretty cerebral like Kahn himself, but, Maidana fights on instinct, guts, and belief that his constant pressure style has the potential to seriously disrupt Kahn's serene flow. Just the kind of style to beat the talented Brit.

You're talking rubbish. His limitations are extremely obvious. Only someone who is completely blind could fail to be aware of those. What's less obvious is his qualities (other than his power, which is obvious).

Name one limitation that you think I'm not aware of. The fact that he wings his punches? I'm aware of that. The fact that he looks crude? I'm aware of that. The fact that his defence is poor? I'm aware of that. The fact that he often leaves his chin exposed? I'm aware of that. The fact that he doesn't seem to be able to fight off the back foot? I'm aware of that. The fact that he tends to move in straight lines? I'm aware of that. The fact that he rarely feints? I'm aware of that. So name one limitation that you think I'm not aware of.

That said, Roach will prepare Khan well, and Khan is good at sticking to Roach's game plans; and I would slightly favour Khan because of that. But anyone who thinks it would be an easy fight for Khan simply doesn't know much about boxing. Roach disagrees - he knows Maidana is an extremely dangerous fight for Khan and has said so many times.

No that is not what I said. Go back and read my post. I said some people overlook his limitations because of his power. I never said that was the only quiality he had. You jumped the gun and assumed, but I never said that.
