The best offense in boxing

Pac doesn't have those 4? Granted he is not as accurate as Floyd. But, he has accuracy if you look at his numbers against Cotto and Hatton.Who do you think has the best offense in boxing Jim?
I don't want to hear Pacquiao, because power and/or speed doesn't make the best offense.
Abraham has a ton of power but can't hit the broad side of a barn if he fights someone mobile. Paulie has a ton of speed but can't hurt a fly.
The best offense should have everything that makes an offense great. Power, speed, accuracy, effective combinations.
So who is it, in your opinion Jim?Comment

Cotto made Margarito look like a sniper. Hatton takes punishment in order to clinch, the problem with that fight, Pacquiao doesn't stop punching.
Pacquiao lacks accuracy severely, as evidence of his poor percentage against a walking punching bag. He also lacks effective combinations. Throwing punches non stop isn't an effective combination. Jab-straight-leftbody-straight... that is how an effective combination is done. Throwing 20 straights doesn't make a great combination.
Pacquiao has a great offense not the best.Comment

I saw that thread and was like Hell NO..Since I am precluded from posting in the other thread, the best offense in boxing doesn't have 5 stoppages in his 14 fights above 130 pounds. Sorry.
Excellent accuracy and +/- % (by virtue of perhaps the best defense in boxing in combination with the aforementioned.)
But best offense? No, just no.
Then i saw who started it and it made sense..
Its burner.. he like to troll the forums and start non sense arguements..
Floyd is pinpoint but doesnt have the best offense..
I didnt bother reading the thread.. Itll piss me off to know that *******s like burner post here without getting banned again..Comment

hard to say whose got the 'best' offense. floyd's is obviously the most efficient and accurate. but knockouts should be considered too. vitali's and wlad's would be up there. vitali's ability to break his opponent down and make them quit. wlad's ability to keep his opponent off of him and pretty much get the ko when he feels like it.
pwill should be considered because his offense is practically his defense. when williams gets the ball rolling he can nearly shut down his opponent's offense. same with caballero. chad dawson has a great mix of everything and a little bit that floyd doesn't. he's got the speed snap variety accuracy and combinations. he's just missing the killer instinct.Comment

So you making excuses on why he landed on his opponents.Cotto made Margarito look like a sniper. Hatton takes punishment in order to clinch, the problem with that fight, Pacquiao doesn't stop punching.

Pacquiao has a great offense not the best.
But, at the same time not realizing what the game plan for Clottey was. OK....
Is Pac combos not effective? Is that what you're saying?Comment

You are making excuses as to why a fighter is being accurate. What you do not realize is the same can be done for Floyd. Stats are stats and against elite opposition, Pacquiao has been accurate.Cotto made Margarito look like a sniper. Hatton takes punishment in order to clinch, the problem with that fight, Pacquiao doesn't stop punching.

How am I making excuses? I'm am telling you why they got hit so easily. That's like someone saying the reason why PWill hit Margarito so much is because Margarito takes punishment to give it. That isn't an excuse, it's how they fight.
You don't even know the gameplan for Clottey. Are you Pacquiao or Freddie? I'm guessing no. And anyone who has an ounce of technical ability would have picked Clottey apart if Clottey just sat in the shell not punching.
No. I am saying 20 consecutive straight punches towards the face isn't an effective combination.
Right now your acting like how you say "*****s" act towards Floyd. Stay real Jro, normally you do. Right now, your denying what Pacquiao really is.Comment

12 % against a walking punching bag... aka a guy who won't fight back. Is HORRIBLE.
No matter how you spin it, it's HORRIBLE.
I never mentioned Floyd in the first place nor did I EVER say Floyd has the best offense.
What I am seeing is the dumb ass Floyd vs Pacquiao ****. If one person says Floyd is the best at this, another follows up and says "No. Pacquiao is." and vice versa.
I simply asked Jim who he thinks is the best. Because I wanted to know if he was just doing the Pac-Floyd drama ****.Comment

best offense? Floyd? nah and I am a fan of hisSince I am precluded from posting in the other thread, the best offense in boxing doesn't have 5 stoppages in his 14 fights above 130 pounds. Sorry.

I would say though he has the most efficient offense in boxing.
You could make a case for JMM having overall the best offense in boxing.Comment
