I guess your right about only having WBC, but I know he had IBF at one point.
Haymon wouldnt allow him to fight Berto. Thats why Floyd is interested in Martinez because he has the WBC Belt at 154 and the Ring title at 160.

You're thinking about the Judah fight. Judah was the IBF and IBO Champion.

To me its black & white. I honestly think he just doesnt want to pay the fee. How does that belt really enhance his legacy? He's Floyd Mayweather and we saw him win the fight. The belt is important if your an up & comer or someone like Berto but Floyd dont need that belt at all. You think when we look back on his career, we wont remember that he beat Shane for that belt and just didnt take it? Its nothing but a belt or a paper. He dont want to pay 300,000 for that no matter how much money you guys think he has. The only belt at all he would care about right now is the MW belt because thats a weight class he hasnt conqured. I dont even think he cares about the WBC belt anymore. The only one that really enhances his legacy is to say he won a MW title. All the other **** means nothing because we know he truly did win it

It would be consistent for the WBA to strip Mosley for losing.

When Baldomir beat Judah, he paid the WBC fee, so he got that belt, the IBF saw it fit to let Judah keep the belt for some unexplainable reason and the WBA stripped Judah, because, even though Baldomir had not paid to be their champion (what a ******ed concept when you think about it), they certainly weren't going to recognize Judah coming off a loss as the best in the division.

And by the way, the sanctioning fee isn't a flat fee of like 300k, it's a percentage of your purse. I totally get why Floyd told the WBA to **** off.

But Floyd has secured his legacy in boxing already, and the only belt he can gain that would enhance it would be the MW belt. Other than that he can only enhance his legacy by beating Pac, PW, and Martinez. After those fights there won't be anything left for Floyd to do.
When do you think Floyds "Drawing Power" took off? What fight?

I've watched him since the Olympics but the public really caught win of him after he crushed Gatti.
