Oh, and for anyone who cares. RJJ was the best fighter of the 90's.
You may differ, but I can't imagine Dawson making 168 comfortably for long, seeing as he was 191 for Johnson II. He'd be running the risk of draining himself.

The only other fighters I can think of who dropped that kind of weight were Joe Calzaghe and Michael Spinks.

If he is the same Dawson then I love the idea. But, he is going to have a hard time then IF Cloud beat Johnson. I would like to see Dawson-Cloud. But, that is if Dawson has a hard time making 168.
I honestly don't know. But right now he's in a tough position, because both the Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight divisions are horrid, whereas just a class beneath his current class is stacked. If he can comfortably make the weight, he should attempt to do so.

When I say fighter to beat, I'm talking about in his weight classes.

Not smart for Chad.....he's at his best at LHW....I can't see him competing effectively against Andre Ward (next p4p king and a SMW version of Floyd), but I can see Chad cleaning out the LHW division....maybe even moving up to CW....

I believe Dawson should fight Cloud immediately after Pascal, assuming there isn't a rematch clause (and he wins). Those three fights should occupy Dawson until 2012, given his activity.

By then, there should be new life in the division.

Andre Ward aint no Floyd Mayweather. He's talented, and a future great, but he aint no Floyd.

I can't decide who'll end up the better fighter, Chad or Andre?

Even has a little Roy Jones in him. And, I think the fight will be in Montreal Pascal hometown. Could Dawson get the decision?

Cloud is very inactive for a fighter in his prime. He has been fighting once a year for the last 3 years. And, all the guys has been passed prime fighters like Julio Gonzalez who was shot, Clinton Woods who was top 10 but really was runnin on E and retired after the fight, and now Glen Johnson. However, Johnson is still a something left in the tank unlike Gonzalez and Woods. Johnson showed that in his last fight against Yusaf Mack who is a pretty good fighter. I don't know how this fight will go. But, I think it will be a FOTY material. Both guys come to ****.

I take USS over Ross who won the reality boxing TV show the contender. To me Cunningham has the best skills in the cruiserweight division. And, now that Adamek is gone USS is the best fighter in the division. I have USS winning the fight. I think USS is on the top 5 most underrated fighters right now.

Vazquez-Marquez- That one will be a war I think. What is crazy is that each fight gets better and better. We will how this one turns out.

Perez-Mares- I have Perez to win. He has fought the more proven guys as a pro. The fought a few times in the amateurs. I think Mares won twice. And, they use to be roommates too. Matter of fact Mares dad is Perez manager. I don't even think I have seen a father be the manager of the opponent before. Crazy stuff eh? But, that is why I don't think Perez can win a decision. And, plus Mares is a Golden Boy fighter. And, as we all know Schafer and Golden Promotions are the devil. They will rob Perez if it goes to the decision. Perez has to KO Mares or he will get robbed.
                  JR -

Chad will box Pascal's ass off....

The Road Warrior is one of my favorite fighters.....the ultimate high risk - low reward fighter.....and gives anyone not named Chad Dawson a run for his money. "I'm not the best...I'm just here to fight the best"....one of my favorite quotes.

I can't believe Izzy and Marquez are getting it on...AGAIN....and I see Izzy taking him out in 10.....

Agree with Perez needing to KO Mares...he won't win on a decision.

Minus the shoulder roll....he definately has "Floyd Tendancies"...the adaptation mid fight....the inside fighting....the great technical skills....

My only knock on Ward is his activity level.....turned Pro in '04....yet is still only 21 fights into his career....either his promoter doesn't know what he's doing...or he's over protecting his fighter....
