I got Dawson out boxing pascal
Johnson is still a dangerous fight at 175. So I got johnson in that one.
Cunningham because of ****m. I feel he will win that fight
Vazquez vs Marquez 4 : Wow I can't believe they will fight again. Do they have anything left?
Mares vs perez I really don't know. Thats tough

I apologize for getting caught up in the "war".......but RJJ and B-Hop have been dominant far longer than Floyd in the 90's.....

Let's have us a nice civil discussion.....

Sidenote - Starting in '96 + 1 yr (time it took to be champ) = '97.......'97,'98 and '99 = 3 yrs of work.
Maybe you don't understand. Mayweather has been dominate since the 90's.
He was the most outstanding fighter coming out of that 96 class. To act like ,97,98,99 was nothing in Floyds career is just ridiculous

I have Dawson also. But, Pascal is no joke. This is the first prime fighter that Dawson will be fighting since Adamek. But, Pascal has some boxing skills. Even has a little Roy Jones in him. And, I think the fight will be in Montreal Pascal hometown. Could Dawson get the decision?

Cloud is very inactive for a fighter in his prime. He has been fighting once a year for the last 3 years. And, all the guys has been passed prime fighters like Julio Gonzalez who was shot, Clinton Woods who was top 10 but really was runnin on E and retired after the fight, and now Glen Johnson. However, Johnson is still a something left in the tank unlike Gonzalez and Woods. Johnson showed that in his last fight against Yusaf Mack who is a pretty good fighter. I don't know how this fight will go. But, I think it will be a FOTY material. Both guys come to ****.

I take USS over Ross who won the reality boxing TV show the contender. To me Cunningham has the best skills in the cruiserweight division. And, now that Adamek is gone USS is the best fighter in the division. I have USS winning the fight. I think USS is on the top 5 most underrated fighters right now.

Vazquez-Marquez- That one will be a war I think. What is crazy is that each fight gets better and better. We will how this one turns out.

Perez-Mares- I have Perez to win. He has fought the more proven guys as a pro. The fought a few times in the amateurs. I think Mares won twice. And, they use to be roommates too. Matter of fact Mares dad is Perez manager. I don't even think I have seen a father be the manager of the opponent before. Crazy stuff eh? But, that is why I don't think Perez can win a decision. And, plus Mares is a Golden Boy fighter. And, as we all know Schafer and Golden Promotions are the devil. They will rob Perez if it goes to the decision. Perez has to KO Mares or he will get robbed.

Ok.....you obviously haven't been reading my previous posts....I agreed that Floyd winning a title 1 yr after turning pro is great, winning FOTY in his 2nd tour of duty is impressive considering few IF ANY have ever accomplished it....

My point was the 90's includes 1990 to 1999.....Floyd came onto the scene in '96...and started to really impress late '97 early '98.....

B-Hop was undefeated thruout the 90's except against a much more experienced RJJ.....

RJJ got ****ed on a DQ to Griffin....but shut his ass up via....well you know since your a "bigboxingfan".....

B-Hop and RJJ might not have the god given talent bestowed to Floyd Jr....but in their primes....they fought dam near anyone....

          Again....just answering your thread....

Come on now. B-hop,RJ were not in Floyds weight class. I'm talkinging about 130-154. Also 97,98,98 isn't that the 90's?
When I say fighter to beat, I'm talking about in his weight classes.

I don't know what he wants to talk about, but after the Pascal fight, I'd love for Dawson to move down to 168. Super Middleweight would instantly become the best class in boxing.

                I'd love to see a Dawson-Dirrell or Dawson-Ward fight.

Oh, and for anyone who cares. RJJ was the best fighter of the 90's.

Are you serious? Only a dumbass would allow another fighter to hit him to create openings. Clottey landed a punch almost every time he threw a punch in the fight.

Not hard to dominate a punching bag when he's afraid to throw punches because he doesn't want to get KO.

                    Floyd's performance against Mosley >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Manny's performance against a B-level fighter.

Look at Manny's face after his fight and look at Floyd's face after his fight with SSM. Money didn't have to get hit and take punishment to create openings, lmao. He fought a better overall fighter, the best fighter in the division, and dominated him the whole fight. He made the best WW back down and be afraid to throw punches.

Do you think Dawson can make 168 now and be effective?

If he is the same Dawson then I love the idea. But, he is going to have a hard time then IF Cloud beat Johnson. I would like to see Dawson-Cloud. But, that is if Dawson has a hard time making 168.
