I'm a fan of Pacquiao, but other fans need to realize something.

its complete & utter horse****.
to say pac could be beaten by any great because he wasnt a complete fighter at 126-130 is completely asinine & ignorant.
last time i checked pac was dropping & beating hall of famers at 126 & 130 as a one handed green raw one dimensional fighter.
you think aaron pryor was a complete boxing master when he dominated 140?
you think mike tyson was the greatest heavyweight of all time when he was dominating the heavyweight division in his early 20s?
dont get it twisted. pac was a great fighter at 126-130. he became a atg legend with his work above 135. To say he's gonna lose all fantasy match ups vs all time greats because he wasnt complete is down right ******.
buncha uppity high & mighty concieted analysis. Pacquiao's speed, power, aggression, athletcism, heart, got him through 3 hall of famers. ****ing fantasy match ups, buncha useless conjecture. Pac has set such a high standard that people forget what a beast he was at 126-130.Comment

I agree that is why I don't think he can beat Salvador Sanchez he could do everything that Barrera and JMM could do plus more.
Pac was just at one handed fighter. Salvador beats Pac. And, it is not a knock on Pac. Salvador is that great.
But, lets be real if we fantasy match up Barrera vs Pac who wins. A lot of people would say Barrera because he was a versatile fighter who could do it all. out box you out brawl you he could do all. And, Pac was a one handed. Fantasy fights Barrera wins real fight Pac won.
Like Hamed, Pac KO's Hamed. Even a one handed very flawed Pac at 126 KO's Hamed. Prince did not have the versatility or skills of a MAB or JMM. I don't want to hear how Hamed could beat Pac. Because, it is just not true.
And, even against other ATG's like Pryor or and Arguello, Pac had the style and skills at 140 and 130 to beat both of them. Do make it a war with both of them. And, of course both could beat him too...
What bugs me is that a lot of people don't put styles in to play. They just want to say Pac is a one man bandit Hamed KO's him. Corrales destroys him.
Is like they don't even give Pac a chance. And, I think that is just idiotic. Yes they're a couple boxers that would destroy Pac and out box him silly. But, not every fighter. And, not as many fighters as some posters on here try to make it out to be.
Believe it or not Pac would be competitive with a lot of fighters throughout history at any weight. Only the true very true elite could really dominate Pac.
Pac smokes Hamed..........sparks him out..........Comment

LOL I can't believe how underrated pac is at 130. Do people forget he wen't 5-1-1 with 3 TKO's and countless KD's against the 3 headed monster from mexico(Morales, Barrera, Marquez).? Not to mention he fought those 3 back to back to back. Sure he was not the most technical and was far from the Pac of today but niether was tyson or roy jones jr. Pac's speed, power, stamina, tenacity was unmatched in that weight class.Comment

While I agree with what you said...look at who he was able to beat at those weights while being as limited as he was.
Fact of the matter is he was a monster at those weights. Sure he'd have some major trouble with any ATG at that weight but he was very sucessful at surprising the **** out of some damn good fighters even though he was far from complete.
this is where we (as a pac fans get defensive) I could arguably agree with the Pep's & Sanchez's but common Hamed??? some fans just dont give him enough credit or just plain hating ...Comment

absolutely agree with that that and that is whats makes PAC "special", an incomplete fighter doing all those things against bonafide HOFers ...

I was directing this thread more towards welterweight fights like against Leonard and Hearns and Trinidad and guys like that. As I say earlier in this thread at 126 and 130 only the truly great could beat him, and at 135-140 it would have to be a horrible style matchup, like Whitaker, for me to pick against him.Comment
