Do you think Sergio Martinez will beat Mayweather?

Even if they fought at MW, it would most likely be at a catchweight of 155 because Martinez can make both 154 and 160 effectively. I'd pick Floyd to win by a close decision in a very interesting chess match. Since they have very similar styles, it would probably go to whoever has the most skills, and I think Floyd has that edge. Plus Martinez isn't a huge puncher, so Floyd wouldn't have to worry about that.
EDIT: But at the same time, it depends on how Floyd performs at JMW/MW. He'd probably weigh in at like 150 or 151, but still, I wasn't impressed in the De La Hoya fight.Last edited by BoxerDood; 05-12-2010, 07:04 PM.Comment

He looked much better in the Judah and Baldomir fights. And it wasn't because of the opposition. He just didn't look the same.Comment

Once Sergio lands that fist twisting left straight and cuts Mayweather above the eye, it's all she wrote folks. Martinez wins a decision or a stoppage once Mayweather's vision is gone because of blood flow.
Since Mayweather has never been cut, his cutman is probably a bum or that task is prolly done by 50 cent or Puffy. No one in that corner is gonna know what the hell to do once Floyd is physically damaged like that, new territory and no plan to keep things from getting out of hand.Comment
